By the way, I liked how the guy in the video removed the bottom half of the chromebox lid by sticking two of the screws in the vesa mount holes then gently lifted the bottom cover off the chromebox with the two screws in place. I thought [from a non-technician point of view] that it was very astute of him to have done that don't you think ?

My comment was directed at people making video after video of quite simple stuff and posting on youtube, and wasn't a reflection on your abilities or your question.

Simply you have to separate the two halves of the case to get at the write-protect screw.

Anyway, enjoy your chromebox, I have picked up four of them at quite good prices, great little machines.

no, you're experiencing something else with similar symptoms. And as fritsch said, exactly what can't be determined without the relevant log files, at detailed in the first post of this thread.

stab in the dark, since it's affecting every movie you have tried, I'm guessing you're seeing network dropouts. Feel free to try with content from local or USB-attached media before posting logs.
