Turn on "Overwrite site.ini files" in the settings and "Output config files" again.
That's a new setting I forgot about that stops you destroying any manual edits.

Get back to experimenting with the timezone.

Carefully see what files are being made and changed in all the folders I have talked about.

Make sure all your channels are getting through to the final WebGrab++.config.xml

Make sure the timezone is right in the final tv.com.ini file.

Look in the WebGrab++.log.txt log file for [ERROR]

Don't select more than one channel with the same name.

Webgrab can get a lot more complicated than this so you need to be able to work out what is going on yourself.

Read all our conversation again carefully.

Hey! Fantastic add-on. Works really damn well!

Only thing that could be improved IMO is the look, but then again I've not yet seen a TV guide add-on that looks any better. Why is it that add-on TV guides never look as slick as the PVR section of skins? I'm thinking of Titan and Estuary which both have beautiful looking guides...

Also where did you get those really nice channel logos in the screenshot on the first page of this thread?

I think Estuary and Titan are pretty awful. They are all form and no function. It takes forever to find anything because the information density is so low. Titan really messes up the fonts in this addon. I'm sticking with my version of Confluence with all the animations and shadows deleted and a video wall. Quick and functional.

I like the minimalist look. It is going to get even more stripped down in the future. If you don't like it there are plenty more tv guides around.

You can make it look like anything you like if you create your own background image. Even mimic the look of all the other 1990s looking guides. Wink

I made the BBC Logos with ImageMagicK.
https://github.com/primaeval/bbc.logos
Python code.
https://gist.github.com/primaeval/c3f14baae74aaac6a40d05bf9b309150

The other logos are from TheLogoDB.com and can be pulled in in Settings \ Logos or Menu \ Channels \ Logos \ TheLogoDB

0.0.178
- User Skins

If you don't like our skins you can make one yourself. Smile

Settings \ Appearance \ Skin Type = Yours
Skin Name = YourSkinsName

Copy one of our skins from:
addons\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\skins
to:
userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\skins

Go crazy with Photoshop. Wink

If you make something you want to share, post a link and a picture here.

I don't promise not to break your skin as I might need to change some of the functionality or add new features.
Keep an eye on the Github source if you want to see what has changed.

+2 I switched over from PTVL, where I even modded some of the skins to my liking. I love the minimalistic approach by primaeval on this guide which IMO not only looks great but enhances the speed and function compared to other guides.

Thanks primaeval,
The path userdata\addon_data\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\skins doesn't exist here.

You have to create the 2 folders (resources & skins) yourself. I've tested it and it works great. Thanks primaeval for the continued development on this excellent addon Smile
