- cbr600ds2 - 2011-11-07 Nevermind...worked right... Thank you - NeddyO - 2011-11-09 Just wanted to say thanks for making this, saves me having to mess around with a Win7 virtual machine to run ember. Really appreciate it! Ned - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-09 You're welcome ![]() - Zenshi - 2011-11-12 Hey Marius, Been having a hard time with my anime, can't seem to save the metadata when fetching. Example: Trying to get metadata for Infinite Stratos, show exists both on anidb and tvdb, but when I press save, it just reloads and no nothing. Anything I can do to successfully add my anime shows? Thanks, Zenshi EDIT: Looks like if I download the poster.jpg and fanart.jpg by hand to the folder and then running fetch metadata it works... Weird - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-13 So, using ViMM you are successful at getting the anime 'search' window to pop up with the results, selecting the wanted anime from those results and inputting the TVDB ID. And up to the point you press the save button, it sounds like things are going right, except that it can't download and save the images, and because the NFO is written down after the images have been downloaded, it doesn't save that either. Very odd indeed, it sounds like something might be going wrong while switching between the AniDB and the TVDB and downloading those images. Keep trying for other anime as well, maybe wait a little while in case there might be a connection issue between ViMM and the TVDB API, and let me know if it does it for every anime. - speedemonV12 - 2011-11-15 hey im running into an error while scrapping: imdb API is not responding and it just skips that step and keeps going. - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-15 speedemonV12 Wrote:hey im running into an error while scrapping: This usually means that http://www.imdbapi.com is temporarily down, the best you can do is to wait and try again later. Version 6? - preproman - 2011-11-15 MariusTh86 Wrote:This usually means that http://www.imdbapi.com is temporarily down, the best you can do is to wait and try again later. How far off is V.6 - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-16 Still some time off i'm afraid, but i'm still working on it just about every day, hope y'all can be patient enough ![]() - Macsorzist - 2011-11-16 preproman Wrote:How far off is V.6 Wanted to ask the same but i donĀ“t want to stress you ;-) - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-16 For those that are interested, I can tell you some of the changes so far. The Movie list will show at a glance some the files that have already been downloaded, such as poster, fanart, trailer and subtitles, and it shows Movie rating & Quality, (720p/1080p/SD) and it will be able to dig multiple levels into folders so you can have something like "Movies/Genre/MovieName/MovieFile". It'll save the movie list into a 'database' which it will load and work with rather then digging trough slow network drives each time the list needs a small refresh, though it'll still load images from disk. There'll be fill in your own YouTube Url support for trailers, and it's been much improved if you don't fill one in to let you know if a trailer is available or not trough the API's, since in version 0.5.3 and below it seems to somehow hang or spin the progress bar forever if there's no trailer available trough the API. And the biggest change which is taking up a lot of work is multi-language support, i'm translating the app in both English and Dutch as i'm working on it, and i'll let users help translate it to other languages once it's out. ![]() - T800 - 2011-11-16 Sounds good! Us OSX users have had next to nothing in regards to media managers for years and now it feels like we might end up with the best one! ![]() - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-16 T800 Wrote:Sounds good! I can only hope and work hard so that it will be such as best as possible! ![]() - T800 - 2011-11-16 Will it be possible to mark films as bluray or hddvd? It would be great to be able to highlight a movie and just press a button and the file names are appended with ".bluray" or whatever. - MariusTh86 - 2011-11-16 It might be possible to add quality (720p/1080p/SD) to the filename, however bluray or dvdrip is usually a text tag given to the movie file name, and which isn't always given in older rips, so it's not a very usable tag. |
