segacd is bin/cue combo and also psx. segacd is the only reliable one tho because i cant get any of the mednafen emulators to work.

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - King Dude - 2013-03-24

Just realized that my OP had a duplicate. I was wondering why it seemed like a longer chunk of text than when I originally made it :/

PS
Damn, this thread got pinned? Huh, I had no idea this thread was going to go that far. Who'd have thunk it.

Has any effort been put into a OS X build yet?

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - garbear - 2013-03-24

King Dude, you started it all. Basically, you're famous.

N3MIS15 I'll start digging through your logs today. I missed most of the posts last weekend.. st. patty's day hangovers don't lend themselves to memories too well Smile I figure I've hammered out enough shiny bells and whistles, it's probably time I stated focusing on actual GAME support

No OSX port yet. Had a hackintosh install once, but broken video drivers meant I could only test XBMC compilation, not runtime.

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - drivesoslow - 2013-03-24

I just reinstalled Xcode and I am currently compiling it. If it is successful I will post binaries.

I may have started it, but all of you guys carried it on. You guys should be famous.

Also, I think one of the mods unpinned us haha...

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - garbear - 2013-03-24

libretro binaries are the goal. audio delay might be back as well, depends on CoreAudio engine buffering

Re: Integrated Video Game Emulators - Martijn - 2013-03-24

Unpinning can be caused by a mod which I'd a bug in their code as soon so we post something.

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - garbear - 2013-03-24

clearly two devs have been arguing the (mis)use of goto; in c++ and the rage has spilled over into a pinning battle for this thread

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - Bstrdsmkr - 2013-03-24

Just ask them both if they prefer spaces or tabs. They'll forget all about goto lol

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - cubii - 2013-03-24

just registered to say that this will be (and is as far as i can say from precompiled testversions for windows) a groundbreaking innovation on htpc`s!

I always liked emulators to enjoy good old games but hated to reinstall (after reinstalling windows e.g.) the emulators an configure them etc...
i wondered why it is not possible to have some preconfigured emus and a good 10foot usable skin and guess what, i found it now!

Please go on with your good work and i cant wait to see Uni-System 5!

Cubii

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - garbear - 2013-03-25

cubii thanks for the appreciation. I'm putting a lot of work into the zero configuration part (the logic that decides how to load a game recently got split off into its own file Smile), so if there's anything you dislike from the "old days" of choosing a rom from a tiny menu that you don't want to see make the jump into xbmc, let me know!

RE: Integrated Video Game Emulators - holydhaliwal - 2013-03-25

Garbear, I don't know if this has already been discussed but have you looked into in game disk swapping? A lot of PSX rpgs are on multiple disks and have you "insert disk 2 or 3" at certain parts, I'm not sure if this functionality is something that needs to be done on your end or on the emulators end but it would be awesome if this could be done properly!
