- m.savazzi - 2011-01-08 I just reinstalled the PC and lost ember. This is bad! - Malexx - 2011-01-08 dont know if it works for others. I zipped my fully working Ember 1.2-2385 with almost all plugins etc. Hope it works ... Download - gizmotoy - 2011-01-08 Malexx Wrote:dont know if it works for others. Works perfectly. It copied your library, so everyone will see what movies you have, but it's functionally complete. Thank you! ![]() Now if I can just find the setting to make it scrape in english. I think I'm getting German plots and such. EDIT: N/M. Found it. It was a sneaky check box. - joshhansen - 2011-01-08 I get errors while opening Malexx's version ================= <Assembly Versions> ================= Platform: x86 Ember Application (Revision: 2385) Ember API (Revision: 2381) Ember Extras Scraper (Revision: 2365) Ember Native Movie Scrapers (Revision: 2385) Ember XML Scraper (Revision: 2357) Renamer (Revision: 2372) Frame Extractor (Revision: 2357) Media File Manager (Revision: 2357) Notifications (Revision: 2357) YAMJ Compatibility (Revision: 2302) Genres Editor (Revision: 2365) Media Sources Editor (Revision: 2365) Audio & Video Codec Mapping (Revision: 2365) Ember Native TV Scrapers (Revision: 2385) XBMC Stuff (Revision: 8) ================= <Assembly Versions> ================= Title: Error Message: Illegal characters in path. Maybe that's part of your problem? I do periodically get a bunch of errors, mostly about Boolean something or other, particularly when modifying settings... but everything seems to be working. I'm not sure what the errors are referring to, though. - joshhansen - 2011-01-08 what do you mean you reset the permissions? what and how do you do this? - gizmotoy - 2011-01-08 joshhansen Wrote:what do you mean you reset the permissions? what and how do you do this? Depends on your OS. For XP: Right click the folder. Click properties. Go to the security tab. Ensure Admin and your user name have read/write permissions. If not, enable them and click OK. - BinaryMonkey - 2011-01-08 I am currently getting no data from the scrapper using Malexx download. - Geeba - 2011-01-08 BinaryMonkey Wrote:I am currently getting no data from the scrapper using Malexx download. Nor me... crashes everytime... tried XP/Server 2k3, vista and Win7... I can right click each move and do it manually... but the auto scrape and force best match... nope. Are we supposed to run the setup.exe or the embermediamanager.exe ![]() Alot of the scraped results are in German to? ![]() - jonte511 - 2011-01-08 Got the solution for you guys! ![]() Well at least this worked for me... Had the issue that EMM didn't save anything to the HDD. 1. Unpack the EMM Revisited archive and run the basic automated setup. http://sourceforge.net/projects/emm-revisited/ 2. Download this EMM port for PortableApps http://portableapps.com/node/26016 3. Unzip the contents of that file anywhere. I used 7zip for this, might also work with WinRAR or similar as well. 4. Go to the folder "\$_OUTDIR\Ember Media Manager\" and copy the contents to your EMM Revisited folder, overwriting all files when asked. 5. Start the new "Ember Media Manager.exe" and you're good to go! Edit: Don't forget to use this new scraper by Rogue, since EMM's is outdated. Unzip to Modules directory. http://www.mediafire.com/?b130dvbk7iqsehy - frieten - 2011-01-08 is anyone else having issues with IMBD scraping for movies? its not finding any movies now even if i manually input the ID. - ubuntuf4n - 2011-01-08 Malexx Wrote:dont know if it works for others. Seems to be working, but I got this error.. Quote:================= <Assembly Versions> ================= - >>X<< - 2011-01-08 frieten Wrote:is anyone else having issues with IMBD scraping for movies? its not finding any movies now even if i manually input the ID. Used it today and it worked fine for me - ubuntuf4n - 2011-01-08 Okay I got it, there seems to be a bug in EMM: When 'Scrape all Fanarts of the Following Size as Extrathumbs:Large' is ticked, then EMM doesn't allow to scrape Large Posters (where stated 'multiple') while doing a manual-scraping. If I untick the above mentioned option, then EMM allow to download those posters in manual mode. That means everyone who had the same problem should untick that option. I am going to scrape Fanarts as Extrathumbs manually (as a workaround). ![]() - PBoD - 2011-01-08 Nul7, Nuno, and Olympia, WTF? The EMM website has disappeared. Last we heard, development was delayed but continuing a few months ago. Now, development has not just been stopped, but been prevented from continuing due to lack of transferring ownership of website/source code. At least give us a chance to continue what you started and maintained. Hell, I'll host the damn thing; website, forums, and all. I know precious little about VB but what you guys have accomplished here should not go unnoticed nor unrecognized. What the hell happened? |
