By "stops working" what do you mean exactly? Do you mean you can't navigate to the specific menu entry in the home menu anymore, as in not being able to reach it? Or does selecting the custom menu item not load the appropriate target anymore?

I am using all three custom spots in the video menu and I am not experiencing a problem with anyone.
Please provide a step by step way to reproduce it so I can make sure we are testing the same thing.

I active in XBMC group by saga, I active option saga to refocus, appears in the saga "submenu movie" and the small thumbnail view not title that appears. I found the culprit. It's when you configure a custom menu item in one language, lets say in English and then switch to an other language, Dutch in my case. That's when the menu item stops working. Once switched back to English, the custom item works again. Is this an XBMC thing or a skin thing?
This is easily fixed for me by re-creating the menu item in the desired language.

I can't reproduce this. Be sure not to back out of the dialog where you select the folder, as it will then assume you don't want to select a folder and it will fall back to the skin backgrounds folder. So, always press ok.
