I have to admit I don't use "advanced launcher", but I will look into what's needed for it to work properly in the skin. Whatever I come up with will not make it into the Beta1 release. I can post necessary files to my Dropbox for testing. Will keep you and everyone who uses the launcher abreast of changes.

In continuation to what @minus0 has said, due to an extenuating circumstance, Beta 1 will be released to NortheBridge by Design and Emby tonight.
Unfortunately, I have not been able to test the Beta 1 fixes or do much of anything so this will be "shotgunned." Release notes for Alpha 9 and Beta 1 will be simultaneously posted.

Is there no support for extendedinfo?
Every time I click on the actors I just see infos about the movies he played in my database.
Is there a way to disable the startup message? I know, I am testing alpha software, I don't need to get an info everytime I start.
Since there's no changelog for Alpha9/Beta1: will there be more hubs support, the HUB IDs fixed and "Skin Settings - Furniture - Show Plot overlay after X second" available in beta1?
Is it planned to release a fixed version of the beta emby plugin aswell?
Atm with movies the years and the ratings won't be imported, till you click update infos in the movies. Also no ratings for TV series.

I am working on HUBS, and the Show Plot Overlay. Hubs will mimick Jurial Munkey's Arctic Zephyr.
If it's alright with @Guardian Hope, we could move the Startup Message to the PowerMenu Dialog box, or just put a toggle switch in SkinSettings. I know he would like it to be there for newcomers to the Skin.
Since @Guardian Hope will be busy with his moving to a new home, and that the time from Beta1 to Beta2 will be awhile.
I am going to test a few requests that were posted here by putting the updated files in my Dropbox. I will post links as things come available. This way I can have everyone test out new features without the long period in between the Betas.

The Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Danvers (Preview) Alpha 9 Update is a significant update to Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes bringing additions for the music lovers. For the first time in the history of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes, a fully featured Music Hub now exists as part of AZ:FA and will continued to be supported and updated as we progress through the development of Danvers and onto For Another Age. Speaking of which, in this version of Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes you'll begin to see references to For Another Age and a special credit thanks has been added to Braz as AZ:B and AZ:FA have already started to converge.
There are so many changes to AZ:FA Alpha 9 that the list will be quite long!
As I always say, do not forget to give a special thanks to @minus0 who continues to be a wonderful partner in the development of this skin. I also apologize for the lack of screenshots but everything has been put away and shipped except for my Mac which means the next time we see a lot of new screenshots will be Beta 2.
Getting It
Available in the NortheBridge by Design Repository: the NortheBridge by Design Repository is an exclusive repository containing all the requirements for Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes and has superseded all other methods of getting AZ:FA to be the most preferred. Providing access to the same Verizon Anycast Edge Network that the previous "zip downloads" were on, this is also the fastest way to get AZ:FA. Download once, be updated forever.

Extended Info is brought up by pressing down on an actress or actor rather than the enter button. The enter button will search for titles in your library which also features the specific actress or actor.
The startup message, which will only be displayed during previews, currently has no option to be disabled. Since @minus0 touched on this: yes, if you can implement an option whereby it can be disabled but in every update the message has to be disabled again. The reason is that box is going to start relaying more important information on startup as we move from Danvers to For Another Age. Otherwise, as annoying as it may be to some, it will be disabled upon Danvers' release.
I just posted the changelog to Alpha 9 and only a few additions were made to the changelog for Beta 1 which will be posted in a while. There are 2 feature requests fulfilled but since I don't use Music and @minus0 neglected to tell me what they were, I don't even know.
The Emby Addon is a public test version. It will be updated as it's updated but like prefaced on Emby, "do not expect support for it, it's to hold everything over until Krypton reaches RC stage and the library database numbers don't change." This version's inclusion in the NBD repo is as a service to help others continue using Emby [mostly normally] until a full release is made.
Ratings will not be imported but the years are. I neglected the instructions but you must (a) reset the Kodi Database via the Emby plugin options; (b) update the library within Kodi.

Bug Report:
Blank screen/resets when accessing files via SMB. This also happens when entering SMB username and password.

Hi. Love the skin. I'm on beta 1 but cannot get artist slideshow working. Is this a known issue. Searched thread but I could not get working.

Is it possible to have transparent lyrics so we can see the artist slideshow in the background with lyrics in the foreground??

I guess the lyrics could be put into the Colours section. Then could be changed to any color/transparency. Will add.

If you are referring to a setting in the skin, there isn't one. You can edit the "Includes_Home.xml". Just remember you have to re-edit those settings each time there is an update.
And this is for everyone, I am going to make available this weekend some modifications that been made.
1. HUBS are now setup like Arctic Zephyr (Jurial Munkey's). You now have the ability to setup 9 different HUBS. They will now cross transfer between supported skins.
All Hub modifications are at present under "Customize Home Menu" in SkinSettings.
2. Plot Overlay is now supported in Library Views. Settings are in the "Furniture" area. You can also set the time for the plot to display. Times are (1) second to (10) seconds, default is (4) seconds.
Next changes are for the Advanced Launcher, and some Music Visualization. @Blurayx, are you aware that you can have the Music cover and info turn off displaying while music is playing. This also will help prevent screen burn in.
I will post links for the new files. Until later.

Regarding the music cover, I currently have it turned off. I'm hopping you can implement Guilouz's Artist slideshow workaround. if not The Album cover flipping left to right would be an alternative.
The thought of tagging thousands of my Music file gives me nightmares lol
Some of my music files that are tagged, Artist slideshow don't work with Arctic Zephyr. Is this a known issue.

Hello all,
Long time Arctic Zephyr user and even though I have tried others I always go back to the best!
I installed From Ashes yesterday (Jarvis version, Fire TV) and encountered a problem I have had in previous versions of AZ.
I am an OTA user and when viewing live TV and selecting the pop up TV menu at bottom of screen nothing happens when I select the "Timeline" button at the far right of the menu. Timeline works from other locations but I like the ease of accessing it from this menu while watching Live TV. The odd thing is that I have tried user's build with the skin and this button works. It is only in the primary skin releases that I have the issue. I would think since it populates by default that it "should" work. Until now I used an AZ custom build to get this functionality but prefer to configure my own build from scratch.
If anyone has experienced this and/or has a solution I would appreciate your input.
