RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-25 The extra fanarts are an global setting and the ignore issue is an Kodi internal cache bug.Nothing I can do against it, sorry. RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - scwheeler - 2015-03-25 Hi sualfred, is there a way to get the homescreen widgets to work with Helix? Bizarrely when I copy the code to nessus' original they work?? Cheers, Steve RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-26 It should work in Helix (except the Isengard changes), but code copy isn't enough. It's not just one change in a file. Try to install it manually by copying the skin directly to you addon directory if the Repo won't let you. Just be sure you have all addon requirements installed. They are listed in the addon.xml file of the skin. But I suggest you to installt a Kodi 15 nightlie. They are smooth and work much more stable for me than Helix RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - peppe_sr - 2015-03-26 i'm using it on Helix without any sort of problems. it is signed as not working in addon list but i installed it manually easily. Peppe RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-26 You just have to get sure all addon requirments are filled. Just take a look at the addon.xml to know which have to be installed. RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - Jocatheo - 2015-03-26 Hi suafred Does your mod run in raspberry pie with openelec 5.0.6, running kodi 14? I've tried install your mod from zip file and it shows error message, something about dependencies not meet. I'm a noob in this kind of things Thanks RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-26 Should work. As said in my post above, do it manually. But I don't give any support for installing or running it on Helix since it is optimized for Kodi 15. RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - scwheeler - 2015-03-27 Thanks. I'll double check the dependancies incase I've missed anything. Am keen to run Isengard, however using Openelec too and can't find a build yet ![]() RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-27 Sry mate, I'm one of those WINDOWS FTW!!! guys ![]() Edit: http://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=211501 RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - wex101 - 2015-03-27 Fantastic mod! I'm curious if you`very considered adding the option to remove the purple bar as done is this mod herehttp://forum.kodi.tv/showthread.php?tid=216085 for a more elegant style homescreeen. I love bello views and your widgets are fantastic. I've just personally always had a hard time with that purple bar RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - sualfred - 2015-03-27 Hmm.. ok. Why not. Will be added in the next update. Edit: Already implemented, but I won't move the menu to the bottom of the screen. I assume that I'll push the next update in a few hours. Did a lot of small adjustments and fixes again. RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - wex101 - 2015-03-27 Wow you are awesome! I was in the middle of mocking up some ideas then saw you posted this. I agree keep our in the middle. I'll look at what you made and share some thinking I had, specifically with the aesthetics transitioning from the menu to widgets. like some sort of purple vignette overlay or something. Edit: Actually to make things simpler, I'd like to remove the purple color from the background when pressing up and viewing widgets. I've searched allover and can't find in the xml files where that purple color behind the posters exists. Any help in locating it? RE: Bello Fredo - brutally modded with custom home widget support - Jocatheo - 2015-03-27 Hi sualfred So I'll have first to install all the addons that are listed in the addon.xml and then install the skin, is that it? About the install, I've to install from zip file in the settings, right? Or is there another way? I've seen your files in github and I can't find some of the addons listed in the file addon.xml. Where can I find them? Is there a problem if some of them are in a different version from the one that is mentioned in addon.xmlt? I'm sorry for the questions, but I'm really new at this. Thanks for your help. So I just went ahead and manually installed it. Working for me! Could you tell me please... I'm really a noob in this thing Where did you find the addons that are missing? in https://github.com/sualfred/sualfreds-repo I can't find them... If the addons are in a recent version than the one that is referred in the addon.xml, will the skin still work? Thanks |
