Once or if you enter the path for "Album Thumbnails" it uses that directory instead and random thumbnails are changing constantly ignoring Service.Skin.Widgets

Regarding the photos, I dont use it myself, but I just tried adding 'Pictures' to the home menu. Thereafter clicking on Pictures gives me a window with 'Picture AddOns' and 'Add Source' - so here you can add a source (folder) just like with Videos.

Is this what you mean?

Improvement in the background showing for a moment, this is dependent on machine specs & other variables in loading the media to play etc. Not too much I can do. Obviously will always looking for better ways to do things.

Trailer button, I have a few issues. If implemented as in Hybrid, then it does not work in Panel type views. Another way would be to add it into the context menu, which is already large & you'd only save 1 click as there is a trailer button in Video Info.

EPG Mod, I'd like to do, but without LiveTV on my system it's difficult. Bit of a wait I'm afraid as have to wait a few months for cable contract to finish and I can get back to satellite which my system uses.
