Crash from new build as soon as I try to play. The background menu fades as if it's going to load and then it drops back to the fire launcher.
Software multi-threaded still works fine.
Btw I noticed you said leave mediacodec on, but was I supposed to turn off libstagefright?

Did not work for me. I'm using the Ouya build.
A generic non-powered usb hub works with a generic usb kbd/mouse.
A logitech wired game controller (f310) is recognized by the kernel, but not by any software I've tried.
The Microsoft usb ir remote/receiver does not work
(Bummed by this. I've used this remote for years.)

I'm not sure why Koying said there are no nice Hulu/Netflix apps. I think he was talking about if you plan on using OpenELEC. If you're in Windows there are nice Hulu/Netflix apps.
BayTrail NUC Vs FireTV isn't a fair comparison though like he said. BayTrail is a full x86 processor. It's pretty fast. It's as fast as the laptop processor penryn from 2008. The NUC is a full fledged PC. You can run Windows, OpenELEC, Ubuntu, etc. A NUC though is 2x+ the price of FireTV. If you're in OpenELEC, it's around 200+ but with Windows, you have to factor in a Windows license, you aren't booting windows off a USB drive probably so you'll need a SSD, you're probably 400+ at that point.
So comparing FireTVs $100 price point vs BayTrail NUC isn't fair.

Yes I understand the BASE price of NUC. But you need RAM, you need storage, both which add to the cost, then assuming the person is looking to do the things the FireTV does you'll also need an IR remote/receiver. All of that gets you to around $200.
Add in a Windows OS, that's another $100.
Add in a SSD for Windows that's another additional cost.
Saying that the NUC is $140, and just ignoring the fact that you need RAM, Storage, and Operating system (if you're not running OpenELEC), isn't really a fair comparison. It all depends on what the poster wants to do, hence why I was saying that Baytrail NUC is a completely different, beast, but it's a full x86 capable processor vs FireTV which is running Android. You got lots of options of what you can do with x86.
Edit: Ya what davilla is saying. I'm making it apples to apples and explaining the original things koying said in response to that post in terms of hulu/netflix since I'm afraid the poster may not understand exactly what koying was saying when he was saying the nuc was XBMC only, that he was talking about OpenElec.

i too tested this file on my amazon fire tv using ouya for xbmc version and it wont play at all. I than tested the same file on my madcatz mojo running xbmc v13 beta 3 and video and audio played but their was latency, than on the mojo with xbmc for ouya and i could hear sound but no video. i wonder if any android box could even play remux blurays (uncompressed blurays without the extras) saw that the file has dts-hd on it. i wonder if the problem is the network, i'll upload the file locally and test.
I run a gigabit network from nas to switch but the bottleneck is the 10/100 nics on the ouya/mojo/fire tv. i hope the android tv learns and puts in a 10/100/1000
update
tested file locally with xbmc v13 beta 3. same results as mojo. even when played locally.
