i love this skin, but is a bit unusable with an airmouse.Have you planned to include that feature?
Thanks.
I have no idea how an airmouse works...what would it take to make the skin compatible?
Hi,
an airmouse works like a tradicional mouse i think.
Mouse control works here, what specifically doesn't work with an airmouse?

Specifically the horizontal lists scrolling. It is really difficult to scroll the addons and recent movies/episodes widgets, both always wrap back. The same with fixed lists.

Your current GIT doesn't include white.xbt and when using extendedinfo, some of the information is hard to read (I selected a movie to illustrate the issue)

Xbt files shouldn't be on git, they are generated when installing from the repo.

Can you take a look at the second part of my question?

Not sure what I can do about that. A mouse really isn't the best way to navigate, skin is designed for keyboard/remote.

I'm out of town again, will take a look when I get back.

RE: Mimic for Helix - Jcahoo1 - 2015-02-23

I am pretty new to this. I was running KODI off of my windows based laptop, and I was using the MIMIC skin (it is the best one by far). I loved that skin, however, I am now running off of an andoid media box and cannot seem to get this skin any longer. Am i doing something wrong?

Mimic is in the official repo, you might just need to force it to refresh (press c on the kodi repo).

OK. As an alternative is possible to automatically show the widgets while scrolling the menu bar?
Thanks

Yes, there is an option to always show the widgets in version 1.04. This version was just accepted to the repo, may take a few days to auto update.

Can someone tell me how to create addon shortcuts? Like how confluence lets you create 5 addon shortcuts??

RE: Mimic for Helix - PeterBB - 2015-02-25

I'm loving this skin so much! Just curious though, which file would I have to modify to reduce the amount of recent episodes/movies displayed from the widget from around 25 to 8? I'm a little compulsive with keeping everything neat on one screen Blush

At the request of several users, I removed the extra info from the seekbar dialog for movies, tv shows, etc. I had left the extra info in the Live TV seekbar because there was no button for info in the video osd.

I just pushed an update to git that makes the seekbar/fullscreen info for movies/tv shows/live tv consistent, but unfortunately not in the way you are requesting. I decided to add an info button to the video osd for Live TV and remove the additional info from the seekbar.

This has pretty much broken live TV channel switching using up/down on a remote. When you press up/down now you only get the seekbar, you have no idea what channel you are switching to.

Hmm, hadn't thought about that. Will take another look at it when I get back.

System>Skin Settings>Setup the main menu
Then either add Video Addons as a Widget or add the ones you want (or sections inside an addon) with Manage submenu

RE: Mimic for Helix - Chewy74 - 2015-02-26

Where can I find the option to turn off the "widget always on" , and to go back to the previous behavior of only on when hitting remote Up?
