RE: WMC as the backend - released - hoopsdavis - 2013-09-25 scarecrow420 I'll start working on putting some info together. where should the info be sent? The more help we get the quicker we can get it up and the quicker we can make it official. scarecrow420 / Krusty, one thing I noticed last night I'd like you guys to look at when you have time. I have Sleepy Hollow scheduled to record weekend, I wanted to watch it last night so I went to tell it not to record prior to starting time, but that option isn't allow. Is that something we can look to adding, if possible I think that would be a great addition. Can you explain more what you mean? It sounds like you just wanted to cancel the timer that was going to record the movie, you can do that from the timers window, as one example. BTW it would be great if you put together a wiki (just remember we need you as a tester too ![]() (2013-09-24, 23:50)scarecrow420 Wrote: its on the todo list 3.5 weeks ![]() RE: WMC as the backend - released - hoopsdavis - 2013-09-25 (2013-09-25, 02:29)krustyreturns Wrote:(2013-09-25, 00:37)hoopsdavis Wrote: scarecrow420 / Krusty, one thing I noticed last night I'd like you guys to look at when you have time. And yes, the testing is priority RE: WMC as the backend - released - scarecrow420 - 2013-09-25 (2013-09-25, 03:20)hoopsdavis Wrote:You could probably guess what I was going to say to this, but here goes anyway. Cancelling tonights episode from a series doesn''t work I tried to reproduce the problem, but couldn't. This is what I did: 1) Set it to record a series. In the 'timers' windows I see a set of recordings for upcoming episodes. 2) I selected the first timer and chose 'delete timer'. When it asked if I wanted to delete episode or delete series, I deleted the episode. That particular episode deleted, without an issue. 3) Then I deleted the timer for the next episode, and on down the list. Is this different than what you are doing? RE: WMC as the backend - released - scarecrow420 - 2013-09-25 OK I have started a wiki page. It's pretty rough and needs to be fleshed out, particularly with links to builds and version information and less rambling instructions... It needs screenshots added etc too. But it's a start If anyone is able to contribute, just apply for an account on the XBMC wiki and then start editing the page http://wiki.xbmc.org/index.php?title=Add-on:PVR.WMC RE: WMC as the backend - released - hoopsdavis - 2013-09-25 (2013-09-25, 05:59)scarecrow420 Wrote: OK I have started a wiki page. I'll get screenshots as well as writing up install and setup steps. RE: WMC as the backend - released - hoopsdavis - 2013-09-25 scarecrow420, I followed the steps givenn by Krusty to delete current day timer, xbmc just hangs with a faded screen. Nothing in the log referencing the issue.. I'm running again now (to get a better log file). One thing I did want to point out, all series recordings were setup in WMC, not xbmc. that shouldn't make a difference should it? I'm wondering if the change to my recorded TV folder is causing an issue. I just tried to schedule a series to record from within xbmc but the second popup never appeared asking which type recording I wanted to reschedule. I'm using server_wmc 1068, could there be an issue there? RE: WMC as the backend - released - ferretlegs - 2013-09-25 I would be willing to assist with producing or massaging documentation. Once someone can post the link of the specific wiki page(s) we are working with I'm happy to see where I can help. Still wasn't sure from previous posts if the official unofficial-addon wiki is the final place this is going to be brought together so a definitive link would be great. Great time of year to go on break Scarecrow, hope you enjoy it! EDIT: Sorry, missed the subsequent posts, will have a look around and see what I can see ![]() RE: WMC as the backend - released - optimans - 2013-09-25 live tv plays for a while then this error is produced: ![]() it then stops playback. if I click ignore, a new error shows: channel not found. If I ignore that, then playback resumes in xbmc. this is from log: Code: 2013/09/25 10:53:35.816 MaintenanceTimer> callback - complete Thanks in advance RE: WMC as the backend - released - scarecrow420 - 2013-09-25 (2013-09-25, 09:45)optimans Wrote: live tv plays for a while then this error is produced: can you post more of the log? At a minimum, need to see the last couple of "Received client request" entries RE: WMC as the backend - released - krustyreturns - 2013-09-25 (2013-09-25, 09:45)optimans Wrote: live tv plays for a while then this error is produced: Besides scarecrow's request for the complete log (which you can place in pastebin.com). Please try re-setting the pvr database in xbmc. This will make xbmc re-read all the epg it needs from the server. See if you get another error. I am wondering if the xbmc screenshots should be done with the confluence skin since it is the default.
