Introduced a couple of new things in v3.0.8 this being one of them, if users want it pushed further across more lists we could try, will not know how it affects performance until we try - just it is a string compare on every label displayed, which takes resources.
Other things that still can be integrated further are watched banners and dvd cases
My main machine updates from the repo and I noticed the new Intro movies skips and judders as the skin is loading. So it's a nice intro but maybe a little too far?

The old font is still there named "Roboto" you can find it in settings under the place to change skins.
Re the black background - If no one else has a problem then chances are it's your system. I've been over and over that bit of code and have now pushed it a little too far and cab now see the "default" background flashing between other backgrounds. I'll take a little break from that particular file and try a bit later with fresh eyes.

Re the background first - I'm still dithering between staying as a MOD or pushing the boat for a skin based on Confluence, TBH I change my mind every day. One thing I am a little bored with is the blue bubble background. It's in the backgrounds folder if anyone can't live without it.
Font - unfortunately I've just got fond of that font - but if it can't do the job, then that's it. I'll try the Ubuntu fonts and see what everyone thinks. Actually the no Caps was not supposed to get removed, I must have got distracted - because "Massive" is in there twice.

I wouldn't push the double dot thing if it's going to use resources that could be used for other things, it's just not that big a deal. Would rather see dvd cases everywhere than that.
I'm so happy with this skin I'm going to upgrade my Zotac box to Helix as soon as the additional 2gb memory board gets here today. Then I plan to install mysql on it and make it the server for all the other boxes in the house. Been using a desktop PC for this but if the Zotac can do it I can shut down the desktop and be a little greener.

As you can see at the screenshot I posted, I don't use bubbles as background
But my taste it is not necessary everyone's taste. I just said that you can create as many themes you like but not as default. It's a compatibility thing, but I'll stop making my point on that, it's your skin after all.

Since the latest updates something changed for the option "synchronizing subtitles". Earlier, when you selected this option, there was only an OSD on top of the screen and you were able to still watch the subtitles when synchronizing. It was even not disturbing when you left the synchronize OSD on top of the screen. When you now select "synchronizing subtitles" the video OSD on the bottom of the screen stays en overlays the subtitles. Is it possible not showing the lower video OSD when synchronizing subtitles again?

Will need a bit of work but sure, Nothing worse then subtitles being blocked.

I have been using CCM for a few days now on my fire tv box. All things were great and had set many custom settings and back grounds. I updated CCM a bout a hour a ago without a issue. I was installing ftv / ustvnow and noticed a update of a addon. The screen went black and wouldn't come out of it. I backed out of it with Home on my remote but when back in to see same black screen. I had to force close kodi on firetv. I went back in to kodi to see CCM GONE!! Any ideas what can create this issue and why CCM would be gone? I have had CCM installed for 4 or 5 days with no problems. My addons all seem to be there expect the ftv which i just had installed prior to crash.

Try re-adding CCM, if your guisettings file didn't get trashed all the settings should still be there.

Im using the Weather on menu bar. I was wondering if there is a way to create short cut tabs under weather for 2 zip codes? My wife is working in NJ during week but home on weekends. I was wondering if thats possible with this skin?

No sorry, only option is for the default weather page. I've tried playing around with the weather widget to change locations when clicked, but it's very buggy.
