RE: reFocus 1.3.0 for Gotham - Reynald - 2014-06-12

Ok, I'm patient, very patient, but I was wondering if it was my fault. And a little frustrated, because with such a beautiful customizable menu ahead and be not able to use it ... grrr .. courage, and thank you for your wonderful work, you and Jeroen , have realized

Lol I'll relax and watch a great movie Smile Thank you good evening

cheers

Note: This fix is now included in the version of the script on the repo. There should be no need to manually install the fix. If there is, please post a debug log.

I think I have fixed this, but can you please try as I wasn't able to get the same error as you.
The zip file here contains two files - xmlfunction.py and gui.py. They need to replace the files with the same names in the following directory:

C:\Users\Reynald\AppData\Roaming\XBMC\addons\script.skinshortcuts\resources\lib\

If it still doesn't work, please post another debug log (wiki). Thanks Smile

Ok no problem , one minute please Smile

It is magic! A customizable menu as I've seen never elsewhere. I am very happy to be enamored with Jeroen ... Uh his skin its course. Your work to you is extraordinary.

I know someone who will cry seeing what new skin and this plug big crazy!!!! Thank you thank you. The skin of my dreams! YES!!!!!

Cheers

EDIT : I did several test and really everything works. In addition the skin is even smoother and faster! The menu responds quickly to opening and closing. even links Seedbox and HDD external ! bravo

RE: reFocus 1.3.0 for Gotham - Reynald - 2014-06-13

I think I found a bug before going to sleepWink

when I add into Movies Submenu a video playlist (Disney) It opens (spear) directly the first movie, but I do not see list of films in this playlist.
I would do more test tomorrow!

Cheers

i can't thank you guys enough for bringing Home Customization to ReFocus. it was basically the one and only thing that was keeping it from being my main skin.
this is truly AWESOME! <3
thank you guys, that you very much. Smile

- edit: it's BETTER than i ever expected, you can actually browse inside the add-on and choose the part that you like and put in the menu. this is game-changing-ly awesome. i'm completely astonished. one of the greatest things i've even seen on xbmc. Tongue

The new home menu is awesome ! The submenu visibility could be improved by moving it a little to right, to stand out from the main menu. I'm sure you already think of that and probably there no easy way to do it but I thought to mention it. Cheers !

RE: reFocus 1.3.0 for Gotham - removed151214 - 2014-06-13

I've found a bug with the new menu system Big Grin When bringing up the management dialog from the "Customize menu" button on the home menu, the menu isn't automatically rebuilt when closing the dialog with the back button - maybe move the call to the script to an onunload tag?

(And, when you get chance, could you pull the latest skinshortcuts pre-release to your repo? Cheers.)

Please provide the steps to reproduce this as I am not seeing this, thanks

The reason is that I have been working on some things that are hard to push individually without breaking stuff and that need some time to get done properly instead of being a hack job.

With oustanding help from Unfledged I have been working on implementing a rebuilt and completely customizable home menu.
...
Absolutely brilliant. Thank you so much for such an important feature addition.
