Is it possible to have the EPG scoot over as the timebar moves offscreen? I know a service is probably required and it may be a bit more difficult, but would be a cool feature.

Also you mark the program on the currently playing channel in a green color, which is cool. What are your thoughts on marking all the programs on that currently playing channel green? That way when you've been watching the channel for a while and the next program is on, it's still marked green.

Thanks!

What is the best way to backup TV Guide Fullscreen

I know nothing about builds.
Make sure this comes along with my repo or you'll miss all the bug fixes I make every few days.
It is still very Beta.

I think we tried that at one point but if you are browsing forward or backward in time and the whole epg moves back to now it would be very annoying.
You can use the Home key to get back to now or use the Keymap Editor addon to map it to something else on your remote control.

The current playing channel is marked as green as well as the current playing program. You need a transparent channel logo to see it though. Try using the ones from TheLogoDb.com in Channels or Settings.
I'll have a look at making the current playing channel's programs stand out somehow.

That looks like a bug about the current playing program not being green.
I'll have a look at it later. Thanks.

version 0.0.206
- highlight all programs in currently playing channel
- yo.tv temporary fix to add 1 day to program data

@GriffeyJuni0r I've highlighted all the currently playing channel's programs as green now.
I tried adding a timer thread to update the currently highlighted program only but it got too complicated too quickly.

The epg will go back to Now when you come back from playing a program.
I think this is good enough for most cases.
If you come back after leaving the epg open for more than 2 hours then you are going to destroy our planet with your wasteful use of natural resources. Turn it off you lazy ass or press Home. Wink

If anyone has used the yo.tv Source who lives to the West of UTC could you let me know if the yo.tv programs are out by one day. If they are there is a new setting to correct it. They work ok for me from East of UTC.

@ed_davidson You need to delete some of your private messages. I can't send you any more as your mailbox is overflowing.

Nope. You need to delete them from the Trash too.

Im in Canada Mountain Time and my EPG data is exactly 24 hours ahead in Kodi. I have to rewind 24 hours to the previous day to see whats on. I am currently not using a VPN or DNS.

Hope this helps.

An amazing addon, Thank you.

I just updated 0.0.209 and it reset all of my channels, is that expected?

It had been working properly prior to the update. I've experienced it on 2 window's 10 systems.

Thanks

[EDIT]
I think I can see why.
I added a new setting for the tvguide.co.uk Providers to check for a reset of the channel data.
It must be treating it as a changed setting rather than just a new one.
I didn't spot it because I have been changing Sources all day while I've been coding and testing.

Sorry about that.

@primaeval I've noticed a bit of a bug where if I have a local file playing from the library I can't get into the tv guide, it just hangs on 'Updating from External Source'.

This seems to have only happened since the last update, I can normally get in and out of the guide with no problems.

If you need a log file uploading I can do so tomorrow Smile

Cheers.

It might be the same problem.
If the source reset has removed all your channels it might not let you in.
That definitely happens with the SchedulesDirect Source.
If it keeps happening pm me a log.

I don't think it's the same problem, it did reset my channels but I can get in and out of the guide just fine until I start watching something, be it a stream or local file. With any sort of content playing it just hangs. As soon as I stop playing I can get into the guide as normal.

Found it. I added a check to highlight the current playing channel earlier today and it depends on a variable for the current channel which isn't set for other videos. I'll fix it in a few minutes.

[EDIT] Try 0.0.210.
