On screen I see " SeaBios (version rel-1.9.8-126-g7d4d62-20160418-MattDevo)
Booting from Hard Drive.....
After that nothing happens.

ok, so if you can see that, what's the problem with booting the USB installer?

Sorry for asking silly questions, USB installer means just download LibreElect on USB and run it?

No, if you didn't use the script to create the install media, then you need to do it manually like every other PC user Smile Instructions/links are on the Chromebox wiki page

USB intaller means that you download your OS of choice and burn it to the USB thumb drive using software like Rufus or Win32DiskImager,etc. in order to boot from it and proceed to install the Operative System (OS).
Depending of the OS (LibreElec/GalliumOS) you can also use Matt's script to download and create the USB installer easily and straight forward.

I created USB installer with Matt's Script, Tried to verify Legacy boot functionality CTRL-L "nothing" tried ESC "nothing"
Still stuck on screen with Booting from Had Disk, seems it doesn't want to boot from USB, I have used same USB stick & Keyboard in past

Try creating the install media manually as per the wiki, using a different USB stick. Also, you don't use CTRL-L for a standalone install, just ESC when prompted

BTW, I did create script to install media as per "wiki" only thing I did by error was install headless version

Hello

I am having trouble with the easy script.
I get an error handshake failure.
I verified I have a network connection wired.

Any idea what a may be doing wrong?

This is my second chromebox the first time a few months back went like clock work.
This is a hp: CB1-014

And the error occurs when exactly? When downloading the script, or running it?

I don't know why you'd get a SSL error on a non-https connection offhand
