Ok, i've installed OpenMeta. But how do you use the addon and what is it for?
And what exactly worked, but doesn't work anymore? Screenshots maybe could be helpful.

You can enable debugging and look for the correct id by yourself:watch gallery

In SkinSettings, go to -> Background -> Show now playing video in Background

Culyrics have a new version bit trying to install results in a failed dependency stating python 3.0.0 issue?
Is this a skin issue?

No... this is not related to skin, Kodi will be switching to Python 3 in next version ( Kodi 19 ) and some addon developers are already preparing for this future transition. Addon versions with "Python 3" dependency, are meant for the next version of Kodi.

there ist an error with UHD icon in the Moviemenu.
HD movies have HD icon, UHD movies have an SD icon.

Can you describe the problem in more detail (which view, ..)? A screenshot couldt be helpful. For me the icon for 4k videos is shown correctly
