RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2016/06/26] - huffpuff - 2016-07-01 well my wired did not work either, and the k400 plus is listed as working. how far do you mean when you say dont log in? is it when the email request, or before? thanks for the quick help! RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2016/06/26] - bbsc - 2016-07-01 Hmm, I'm sorry, I've really missed the "plus" option. Does it work at all? Can you type anything in the login window? How do I get around this? This is the first nightly to cause this problem. Looks like the Flash (dev/sda1) partition is a tad too small. I'm not a linux guru so what is the easiest way to resize this partition/resolve this issue? cat /proc/partitions 8 0 15638616 sda 8 1 247808 sda1 8 2 15373312 sda2 FYI, I am in standalone mode. Downloaded the LibreELEC 7.90.002 Alpha image and windisk32.exe to a USB thumb drive. Reboot Kodo. Hit escape. Quick installed LibreELEC and performed a restore. By default the new images create a 512MB Flash partition when in the past it was 256 MB... Thanks. -Darren RE: Asus/HP/Acer/Dell ChromeBox EZ Setup (OpenELEC/Linux+Kodi) [2016/06/26] - Matt Devo - 2016-07-02 (2016-07-02, 19:39)darebee Wrote: To make the partition bigger it was easiest just to get a Kodi backup. I'm having some trouble getting 7.1 audio passthrough to my receiver though. I do have my audio settings on passthrough, and marked my receiver as capable of all audio formats, but when I play a DTS-HD movie or DD 5.1 tv show, my receiver doesn't recognize the format. I can even hear Kodi is doing some audio processing, as the pitch goes wonky on play/pause. Anyone else having this problem on their chromebox? Edit: never mind, solved! In Settings --> Player --> Video --> Playback section, I had "Sync playback to display" enabled, which disables passthrough and also resamples audio, thus the wonkiness. Now I'm wondering, which settings are optimal for the chromebox in the Processing section? E.g. render method, hardware acceleration, etc. Thanks!
