Use the repo on the first page. Bug fixes are very frequent. Don't use the zip directly unless you want lots of pain. If you just use the addon zip and don't install it from the repo zip you will not get the updates that happen every day or so. This addon is Beta. It is potentially full of bugs and will change very frequently. You can use the zip if you want but be careful about keeping it updated. If you don't know how to find the zip from the front page, are you sure you are ready to make builds? RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - littlepr - 2016-12-03 Ohh! I found it. BTW, I just added the url repo to kodi file manager but it fails to show the .zip file when I try to go install it. I'm assuming this should worl on android. Are you sure you know how to install a repo? RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - littlepr - 2016-12-03 Yes, I know how to install a repo. You add the repo url to file manager. Then you perform install addon from zip. You need to download the repo zip, then add the download folder to the File Manger or put the zip in a folder that you have already added to the File Manager. [EDIT] It is because this repo is hosted on Github, not a normal web server. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - littlepr - 2016-12-03 Ahh! Ok. Since you had said to not use the zip to install that's why I was using url method. I just want to make sure any users of your build get the latest bug fixes as quickly as I make them. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - littlepr - 2016-12-03 So which addon should I install to get the guide working? Install the repo and install TV Guide Fullscreen from there. https://github.com/primaeval/repository.primaeval/raw/master/zips/repository.primaeval/repository.primaeval-0.0.1.zip I don't know your build works but you need to do it that order: repo, addon. RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - littlepr - 2016-12-03 Primaeval, I have to continue with this later. Have to step out. Hopefully I can figure this out when I get back to it. Thanks for the help. Sent from my SGH-M919 RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - gillmacca - 2016-12-04 This may seem a silly question, but would there be any issues with the tv guide uploading the xml file while it is being updated (by webgrab for example)? The guide can get half the data if it downloads the xmltv guide that is being updated by webgrab. If you run the mdb postprocessor afterwards you can use the final output xmltv file. That file is made with a single copy command and should be complete when its made. That is why you need to choose guide_wgp.xml as the output from webgrab in LibreELEC, but guide.xml as the input to TV Guide Fullscreen. If you use webgrab another way, it is a good idea to add a copy command after running webgrab and use that output. |
