RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Baxter300 - 2019-03-19

Love the updates to the widgets, couple of quick observations though. Firstly (in vertical mode) when I press left on a menu item with no submenu the “curser” for lack of a better word still seems to go off to the side and I have to press right again to be able to navigate up and down. Secondly (this ones also quite minor) if I have multiple menu items with multiple widgets, the vertical scrolling position seems to be retained. By that I mean if I go onto menu item #1 and then scroll down to my 5th widget, press back, scroll down to my next menu item, the starting position on the next lot of widgets will be widget number 5. I’m probably explaining that last one very poorly, happy to try to explain more if needed

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Castilho - 2019-03-19

As some people are having difficulty putting more than one widget a quick video, my libreelec is in Portuguese but the way is the same.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Alwiin90 - 2019-03-19

I am familiar with AZ1 and Aura and this is my first test of AZ2 (the alpha from a few hours ago). I tested the default view and love personalizing the home menu. I could commend you on all individual changes I like, but I'll just say I like it a lot.
I have some questions.

Would it be possible to create a background widget for random album art or art from recently played albums (this one coupled to the recently played albums background widget)?
I guess this may be tough since it is not related to metadata and databases and instead I should copy my album art folder and create a slideshow out of this or select some favorites.
I may actually prefer the music library nodes background widget over recently played albums (which I added to the submenu) and will try to combine it with background images.

Can you confirm the weather background widget will see a return in a future build?

Although I like various widgets for things like Year and Genre, I may wish for additional viewing abilities for Sets like before.

Could I sort my in progress TV shows (as shown as a submenu widget) by most recently played? My in progress movies submenu widget show this order, while the one for tv shows does not.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - MrMagic - 2019-03-19

The skin is coming along very nicely. It's already one of the best looking skins I ever used in Kodi, so thanks!

I do have a question regarding the size of the codec information icons. On my screen I feel they are a bit too small. Some of the icons contain text (such as " Web DL"  or "h.264") and it's quite hard to read in my opinion.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Alwiin90 - 2019-03-19

I would like to report another bug. I was looking at the banner list view of TV show episodes (any show) and the back button on top shows the synopsis of the focused film in the movie titles menu.

Just installed the Alpha Version and have a couple of things to raise:
1 When going into the movie info theres no option to play a trailer
2 Cant switch off the wrapping around of the movie/tv shows lists - it always goes in circles
3 The Movie Logo is not displayed - it only says "title" above the poster - re-reun artwork beef to updated artwork but it doesnt help
4 Fonts - on the home screen the bolding of the selection moves all the other sections
5 Fonts - The move title font in the Poster view - can this be changed or manually amended t a different one? not the biggest fan of the one used
6 loading/ cashin of posters - seems to be taking a bit for the posters to load when menu is opened - not sure why - havent had that issue before
7 some of the skin options dont seem to work (i.e. poster blur) and cant be ticked

Overall i love what you did with the skin - i know this is an early alpha but you made a stonking job!

1. Oops, made a typo which was stopping the trailer button showing. Fixed on latest release:
https://github.com/jurialmunkey/skin.arctic.zephyr.2/archive/skin.arctic.zephyr.2-v0.9.6-alpha.zip

2. Wrapping in what sections specifically? Are you talking about big posters view, widgets?
3. Intentional.
4. This has already been fixed.
5. What do you mean by the font changed? It is the same font as the rest of the skin, just bolded.
6. Not a skin issue.
7. Install colorbox from Skin Settings > Manage Dependencies. If an option is greyed out, it means you either do not have the required addon installed or you have not enabled a required skin setting.
Thank you for the pointers. Some of the issues were resolved by just doing a clean kodi installation as the one i was using had a lot of unused addons which was slowing things down.

Regarding point 2. In Poster view in Movies while scrolling when i get to the last item it moves to item one on the list. Is it possible to switch it off so when you get to the last video it stays there even if you're trying to scroll to the right? That option was available in the previous version.

Hope this explains better what i was trying to achieve.

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - mrkuba - 2019-03-19

Sorry, one more thing (and this time i know im an idiot) I cannot switch on the imdb ratings to show on movies in the poster view. how do i do this and is this a skin or kodi setting (clean installation means im a bit lost with some of the settings and where they actually were..)

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Alwiin90 - 2019-03-20

I would also like the option to stop infinite scrolling and I wonder whether you will implement a scroll bar for AZ2?

Yep, I see what you mean. Should be fixed as of v0.9.12

Ah yep, I can see that.
Fixed on latest git master (not in the releases section yet).
Thanks for reporting Smile

RE: Arctic: Zephyr 2 - Giant_Midget - 2019-03-20

Hi Jurial,

Amy chance we could have an option for a minimal busy loader in header (similar to what u had on AZ). If it's not too much trouble? Thanks

 Great video!

But I'm using the horizontal menu. I want the possibility to display two widgets in the movies submenu.
    I'll send a picture.

on this screen I wanted two widgets

I'm not quite following about the background art question. You can add a background for a menu item by choosing "background" in the customisation dialog. The background can be either a folder of images or fanart from a playlist.

Yes, weather will make a return.

The custom nodes for Years, Genres, and Sets can now be overridden in the customisation dialog by setting a new path.

You might need to make a custom playlist for sorting in-progress shows.

Not possible to have multiple widgets for an individual submenu item. However, you can set a widget for each submenu item individually.
