I've been the last half hour searching online and also in this particular forum for a solution to my problem, I hope I didn't miss it and I'm not wasting anyone's time.

The thing is that I can't hide plot on OSD when on pause. Even with the "hide plot on pause" setting deselected, it still shows up.
I checked "IncludesOSD.xml", but I couldn't make sense of it.

I'd love to hide the plot and not be spoiled of the movie's plot when pausing a film. Can it be done?

Thanks for your reply. Are you talking about the 'Splash Screen Settings' section in General Skin Settings/Startup animations? There is either 'Netflix default', 'Netflix alternative', 'Netflix extended' or  'Disable (splash screen instead), with any of these options I can't see the option to choose your own image.
