Thanks for your reply. Are you talking about the 'Splash Screen Settings' section in General Skin Settings/Startup animations? There is either 'Netflix default', 'Netflix alternative', 'Netflix extended' or  'Disable (splash screen instead), with any of these options I can't see the option to choose your own image.

Just select this option and change the image. Roaming/Kodi/addons/skin.titan.bingie.mod/extras/media & bingie_splash.png

But for me it is not there. Was it removed?

The setting definitely missing here. I can only change the behavior using this "moving frame". But as mentioned it is not working everywhere.

I went to exact that section (I think) but see no effect. For me it is always opening info. I sent you a screen. You replied "well in that section it is not supposed to do anything else"? Can you show me a screen what you click exactly where it directly plays - as described by "Play instead open info"?

Such a setting does not exist. I found some descriptions where they mention a setting "Settings > Skin settings > Media library views > Default action for trailers > Play automatically in window (Recommended)". But that setting does not exist. Later you stated that you believe it has to be there because you did not remove it. Do you see it anywhere here:

I don't. The only thing I can do is to disable moving frame here:

This way, trailers are mostly being played in the spotlight widget. But still not always. Sometimes in the hubs it still suddenly plays fullscreen. Unfortunately I'm still not certain if something in my fresh setup got totally screwed - and I should just try to start over - or if it is just the state of Bingie Mod and I have to accept it.

3. I'm really trying to love Bingie Mod as it is in fact super beautiful - But settings not being named precisely enough so one knows what they are actuall doing, settings not working at all or settings simply not being present - and a maintainer just saying 'It works as it is supposed to' makes it really hard to love it.

4. Just playing around with the spotlight widget. The widget sometimes plays a completely different trailer. It shows eg. "The Office" but plays the trailer of "Chernobyl".

5. Adding shortcut submenus has no effect.
