As for automatic trailers, there has been no option to open them in fullscreen for a long time. Why it sometimes opens in fullscreen, I really don't know what it could be. I didn't notice that, but I'll look into it a little more when I have time.
Problems with trailers in spotlight is a Kodi problem, not a skin problem. When you play any video, widget is refreshed and automatically switches to the next movie. Any widget that is set to random will have this problem.
Adding a shortcut to submenus works perfectly, you are doing something wrong.

I have noticed that the issue only occurs with network locations. Is it wrong to try that? How would one know?

1. The video info has already been explained before in this thread. It even says collections I wouldn't even know what else to name it.


2.The trailer might have been removed a long time ago. I have never used that function and see no point in it. I don't remember half of the stuff that has been removed.

3. The trailer switching has also been addressed multiple time. The only way to fix this is by Kodi to switch how they handle trailers.

4. I just checked and added a network location and everything looks good. I have my icon and naming. I am really not sure.

I have an additional question though and of course you can answer me when you have  free time. This skin seems to be perfect fitted for my Nvidia Sheild. Its quite "heavy" for my Xiaomi box though. Can you share some tweaks in order to make it a little lighter for low end boxes?  (If there are any)
For a start i have  unticked almost all the "view" types from settings.
