I installed this on my new Raspberry PI 2 today and it runs nice and smooth 99% of the time. Just the occasional glitch but I consider this in beta as is OpenElec 5.0.1.

Animal - install the Super Favourites addon .... you can password protect folders using this. All you then need to do is add a tab to your sub menu and assign Super Favourites to that tab

Firstly thanks to the guys who've sent in donations, the wife actually managed to go to town over the weekend and have coffee with a few friends - and left me alone to work on CCM
I have read all the posts & will probably re-read them, but may not reply to all straight away. There is definitely 2 types of guys using CCM ATM, boba's post below actually hit home - So I think maybe we should dial back CCM a little back to defaults on initial install background, fonts etc. - But as I find it difficult to restrain myself at times (who'd have guessed) I think I'll revive Convergence, where we can have fun and test out mad ideas, of which the better ones will come to CCM - the plan is except for the home screen the two will be very similar. Convergence needs a bit of work to get it running (screenshot as proof) and I will add in a horizontal menu choice but the widget will have to stay as in the screenshot to accommodate vertical and horizontal menus.

, I definitely think taking ccm to a place is has never been would of been bad for the mod, its success imo was because it didnt have to many bells and whistles but still was very powerful and lean. Also great to see people donating to the hours of work you spend p.s Any progress on the random and last items for LIVE DVD backgrounds? having random movies, tv eps and music albums as the background is essential for me, atm the tv shows recent just cover the background with 1 show boxes

You can definitely transfer your entire CCM folder as well as the guisettings.xml file to other devices. And if you don't want to copy the entire guisettings.xml as you might have some custom settings on where subtitles are, if the pvr is running, if the screen in fullscreen, and etc., you can just copy the part of it between <skinsettings> to </skinsettings>.

Thank-you very much for this skin! It's exactly what I've been wanting for a long time. It keeps the basic look and feel of Confluence but lets me add custom menu items on the home screen easily and doesn't require hours of tweaking to work the way I want it to.
I'm a mouse user and am having an issue though that I thought I would mention. I tried searching and didn't see it already reported. Hopefully I didn't miss it. I use Media Info 2 as my view and when I go into my movies or TV shows I cannot click and grab the scroll bar and move it up and down to scroll. It kind of works by scrolling half a dozen or so items if I don't move the mouse too much. If I try and grab it and scroll quickly though it does not work. The same thing happens in Media Info, Media Info 3 and Low List. All the other views seem to work fine. I can click and grab the scroll bar and quickly scroll up and down.

Well, there you go ! I've been using Super Favourites since Spoyser released it but I didn't know you could do that

Just popped in to say, I haven't deserted you
Really busy ATM and it's not a bad thing to let CCM cool down a little. I think we should roll back a little back to the original mission. eg restore original background and font. Plus remove a few of the settings that were not a success including1) the replace ..
2) the change font colour or at least restrict it to only the main menu - as really need to change whole theme not one colour.

Is it possiple to upload your pic just with the background colour and not with the lines. It´s the best background i´ve seen yet,perfect colour and gradient.

i changed the Font color to maroon (a kind of red).
Can i change the color of the rest Items, like the lower menue bar and the other highlighted items, there are still blue. which doesn't look good.
my version is Kodi 14.1, and last update for the skin

Do you mean without the wire cage looking graphic? If so, nope.

I've noticed ever since the 3.0.7 update, the video progress bar, which shows your watch progress and the buffer progress (on both 'info' and player control popups), are now the same blue color which makes it very hard to tell the difference between the two. Also, on that same progress bar, the tiny vertical seek bar now seems to float around randomly instead of staying at the edge of the watched progress like it used to. I've tried editing and replacing about 6 different files but can't seem to find the right one. Thanks for a great skin.
