RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - samueljones - 2016-12-07 @primaeval, you are so amazing. feature requested in the afternoon and we have it in the evening, I cant believe it. you are Indeed a blessing to Kodi community. Thanks so much SJ TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-07 (2016-12-07, 13:51)primaeval Wrote:(2016-12-07, 13:12)Jeffers24 Wrote: [EDIT] I see what you mean now. You will only get taken to the Stream Setup from Add Alt Stream if you don't have any matches in addons.ini. I expect you get that every time because you like to select the streams one by one. - CORRECT It goes back to the EPG of you click save after clicking alt stream. I didn't know about adding alternate streams one after another without having to go back to the guide every time. That's really handy. TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - ed_davidson - 2016-12-07 Does the addon have the functionality to try each of the main and alt streams until it finds one that plays? Or does I just try the one you select and error out if it won't play? It is just one try and give up at the moment. It is difficult to reliably tell if a stream won't play. I'll try adding it in as a Lab option sometime if you like. LOL RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - samueljones - 2016-12-08 Can someone please help me out. whenever I change anything in the setting or add a new channel through webgrab+++, all my chosen channel logo will be removed and my channels arragement will be reset. I am not sure if this is how it meant to be. I use external logo Url source if that helps. I am not sure if this is how it meant to be. I use external logo Url source if that helps. These are all the settings that force a channel reset. Have a look in here to see what they are called in Settings: addons\script.tvguide.fullscreen\resources\settings.xml Code: SETTINGS_TO_CHECK = ['source', 'xmltv.type', 'xmltv.file', 'xmltv.url', 'xmltv.logo.folder', 'logos.source', 'logos.folder', 'logos.url', 'source.source', 'yo.countries' , 'tvguide.co.uk.systemid'] I was having problems with keeping channel logo sources when I added TheLogoDB.com logos. There might be a bug. The 2 Settings that could be causing the problem are: Source \ Reset on Start: keep this off or the channels will get reset. Logos \ Keep last Channel Logo mapping: keep this on if you manually changed the logos. If it still doesn't work show me your settings.xml and I'll see if it's you or me. Does anyone know if it is possible to access the categories on the epg on an Amazon Fire TV? The FireTV remote is pretty limited. If you can find a spare button you can map it to the menu,m button in keymap.xml. Does anyone know how to make an addon specific keymap? The Categories are still in the main Context Menu on the Left. I use one of these: RE: TV Guide Fullscreen - possibly the most powerful TV Guide in the world. ;) - Jeffers24 - 2016-12-08 (2016-12-08, 10:20)primaeval Wrote:(2016-12-08, 01:51)gillmacca Wrote: This look great. Have a look in the default keymap.xml for some examples of mod="longpress" https://github.com/xbmc/xbmc/blob/master/system/keymaps/keyboard.xml Here is the main keymap Kodi page: http://kodi.wiki/view/keymap and here are some FireTV keymaps: http://kodi.wiki/view/Alternative_keymaps_for_Fire_TV_remote TV Guide Fullscreen uses a lot of buttons right now. I'll see if I can add some little icons to the touch controls overlay sometime. I just have one little niggle with it, when I press M to open the Categories I have to press an arrow key twice to move to another Category. For example I press M then RIGHT and it doesn't move, pressing RIGHT again makes it move to the Category to the right. After that I can freely scroll left & right. Seems like a small bug with the initial focus? I've had a look in the skin xml and nothing jumps out unless I missed something |
