As I mentioned a little while ago, I'm going on vacation to Europe until late in October so whilst I may stop by in the thread if I have the chance, I wont be able to contribute development wise until I get back. Good luck all Smile

Have a great vacation Scarecrow, and don't forget to come back!

Can anyone who isn't running windows clients confirm whether icons are being imported from wmc and working?

I would love to test out the Gotham plug in. Is there a good Gotham-compatible skin that had been modified to work with all the features?

Great news! Any indication that an Android version is in the works?

Problems with multiple sources - Mathflair - 2013-10-02

So I am having a problem dealing with multiple source. I am using an HD Homerun with WMC. For most of the channels WMC's EPG has two sources. One of the sources is correct and the other is bad. By unchecking the bad one in WMC I can view the channel in WMC. When I use the plugin though, it uses whatever the default top source in WMC is, ignoring if I have changed the order or unchecked it. Any suggestions on how to fix this?

No news. There is one guy who said he was going to work on it, but I have not received an update from him for some time.

I don't know. Are most skins not compatible with gotham? I would think my confluence files would work with the gotham confluence.

That's interesting. By source you mean tuner? So you have a bad tuner that you have disabled in wmc so that wmc never uses it? I never thought to check if any reported tuners from the wmc database are disabled. When you request a tuner for a recording from inside the addin, does it also grab the disabled tuner? Or is this just a live-tv issue?

Gave it a try on Mountain Lion and on Raspbmc today. The icons are not displayed on either.

Was live-tv working, on them?

Yes, at least on OS X. And I can see and play my recorded programs. Everything was exactly as it is on my Win client except for the icons.

I don't have the MPEG-2 codec for the Pi yet so there was no video but I did have audio. Ordered the codec tonight so I will confirm as soon as they send my key. But seeing how I had everything but video, I'm guessing it'll be fine.

I was afraid of that. On one of these systems, can you turn on debugging in xbmc. Stop it, then restart it and after the icons fail to display post a link to the xbmc log file?

Another thing that would be interesting to know is if you can, from inside of xbmc, navigate to the directory that contains the icons.

No, by source I mean signal source and not tuner. In my area (SLC region) WMC detects two different sources for most channels. So for example, if you look at source under channel 2.1 it has 40.1 and 29.1 listed as source frequencies. 29.1 is incorrect while 40.1 is correct. In WMC I have to uncheck 29.1 (unfortunately I can't delete them) before I can view the channel in WMC. The problem is that if 29.1 is at the top of the sources list the plugin still tunes into 29.1 to display channel 4.1 even if it is not checked. I can see this because HD Homerun has a GUI which shows which frequency the tuner is currently trying to read. This makes it so that I can't view the selected channel in XBMC.

You can try pushing the working sources to the top of the list. If that doesn't work, you can disable the channel altogether and add it manually with only the working frequency as a source.

I've tried rearranging them, and that doesn't fix the problem. I have also split the channels and only added the working channel and that didn't work either. I'll try adding the custom channel though.

RE: WMC as the backend - released - Mathflair - 2013-10-02

I tried adding a new station, and nothing different happens. That doesn't seem to really make sense to me, but it still tunes to the wrong frequency.

RE: WMC as the backend - released - t-magnus - 2013-10-02

That does seem weird. Does the PVR-addon store tuning info? Or some type of channel ID... I am just guessing, but maybe the PVR database needs to be reset.

I think you are right, you have to reset the pvr database in xbmc to see the changes to channels take effect.
