cat this be an OPTION in next version i dont like it , and i switcht to 85% see thru (is max) witch almost kils the pause dimming but helas also the other overlay screens wich is not so nice.
PS, some of the CCM is in english and some is in my prefered language (dutch)
is there an option of change that or add it to the language file ?

I think it works like this
Text strings that is common with confluence get translated and those that only exist in CCM Helix don't

i have the same problem i dont find the recent movies on select widget set only show me Recent Albums, Random Albums and Suggest Albums there are no 'RECENT MOVIES' there removed it?
and my question is the RECENT MOVIES option is not the thumbnail show in the top in the home menu ? like this one...

This is somewhat confusing.
The image that you provided shows random movies, not recent movies.
My understanding is that if you have the "Random and Last Item script" add-on enabled, that you then have the choice of last added or random movies, episodes, albums or music videos. As you have random movies being displayed, my assumption would be that you have this add-on enabled.
On my version of CCM Helix 3.0.8, Menu item 6 (Movies), the following are my settings:
Submenu set = Movies
Add on set = None
Widget set = Recent Movies
Background type = Random fanart
Within the widget set I have the following chocies:
Recent movies
Random movies
Suggested movies
Unwatched movies
I am not sure if any of this information is of help to you or not.

Still behind schedule
so just a quickie, I do read the post's but TBH sometimes it takes quite a lot to dig into the code to make sure I know what I'm saying is correct. Few quickie answers - hope to have "rollback" version out over weekend, dim screen on pause and vide OSD info on subtitle adjustment should be removed, can do kodi icon also.Translations, will take a little while - "Grand Master Plan" is to sync CCM's language files with "Convergence" as many of the options are similar except Convergence looks more like Hybrid. Will advise when and where files are for translations.
Will dig back over posts to answer other questions as soon as I get a chance.

Really like skins that can be made your own and keep things simple, and to be honest there is nothing close to CCM
However, one "issue"
On my NUC I still use Gotham and as such use old CCM
My favourite bit under TV is "suggested episodes" which shows basically the next episode of each show we have to watch, its great
However, it does not seem to work on latest Kodi build with CCM Helix ?
I have it listed as a menu option, but clicking suggested shows nothing, no episodes etc
is this a known issue

here's a little thing I noticed. Might be an oversight or by design....
The image MediaBladeSub.png is being used for the background of the popout blade that appear when you press the PRINT SCREEN button on a PC keyboard. It might need it's own background as it appears a little messed up....
Should look like the texture on this popout?

Not sure it's skin related but occasionally I have music from my library playing over a video that I'm watching.The first time I had to identify the song and stop it, the last time the only way I could get it to stop was to reboot the box.
Have checked most of the settings in the music section but can't seem to identify a problem.

The random fanart is set by the background type, as mentioned in my last reply.
If I understand your question correctly, you want to show recent movies not random movies ?
If this is the case, then you need to set this thru the widget set.
Any of the widget sets, whether it be movies, video, or music, all have a number of choices in the "Select Widget Set".
In my case in the "Select Widget Set" I have recent movies, random movies, suggested movies, unwatched movies, recent episodes, random episodes, unwatched episodes, recent albums, random albums, suggested albums.
If you only have recent albums, random albums and suggested albums, then I am at a loss to explain why you don't have the movie and tv options in your widget set.
What version of CCM Helix are you running?

I sell android TV boxes. I was using your Hybrid skin before Kodi. Now some of my customers are requesting the Hybrid skin even if it means sticking with XBMC. I love your work and hope to be able to use it again with Kodi. Keep up the good work.

Not seen that before, but let's check it's not the skin - Have you got "Party Mode on Screen Saver" set and did the screen saver kick in? Seems like a good place to start.

ATM "Convergence" is being re-written & nearly ready for an "Apha Release" once matured a little it would probably be a better choice for Kodi - Helix.
