The update to Danvers, Beta Whatever™ should be out sometime this week. We hit a snafu on the GitHub PR that resulted in in all the changes not being added to the branch so it's not going to be recommitted tomorrow. Then add the +2 days trademark delay and we should have a release date.
Now that we don't have to deal with Jarvis and the Dormer branch anymore life is going to get a lot easier.
For those with questions, concerns, suggestions, et. al. I will respond to you all in due time.
However, for now it's time to enjoy a 4K Blu-Ray presentation with some Popcorn!

a suggestion I'd love to see be added which existed in in the Refocus Mod
via artwork downloader download logos for tv-shows and movies under settings.
I've added this manually but would be great if that could be included under funiture in skin settings.

Hi,
when starting my AFTV today I noticed the AZ:FA update notification (which ends mid-sentence btw.) and tried to read up on the changes in this release but could not find a changelog. I have been using the skin for a while and am really happy with it, although the end of life comes a bit early for me using SPMC on the Fire TV with no Kodi 17 release available in the near future. I am a little puzzled now, perhaps you can shed some light on this:
- The Dormer release (at least for me) still has the problem with black bars flickering in the bottom half of the screen when starting an item. I faintly remember that this was connected to a feature that was not implemented. I was hoping that this would be removed with the next (and now final) release...any chance to fix this?

If it's alright with @Guardian Hope, we could do a "Last Call" update. I can sweep over the code and pull out the code responsible for the flickering.

I don't know if there is a great advantage to add this to the "Furniture" section, when the "Context Menu" can basically due the same thing with either grab all artwork or selectable artwork. A matter of opinion.[WINKING FACE]

Well by adding this you can have artworkdownloader download logos for every show/movie in the background instead of doing it manually for every item.
Or am I missing something?

Artwork downloader can do that already,kind of. Go to programs, and select artwork downloader. (or open it's settings and choose run in background. And set up the parameters for what it downloads.)

Ah, I've missed that you could install it as a context menu. So yeah no need to add them to the furniture.
BTW anyone has a good colour theme to share?
Don't seem to be able to change some of the colours (library details), get WARNING: Skin Helper Service --> Deprecated method: COLORPICKER. Please call script.skin.helper.colorpicker directly in the log.

If you would like to do a "last call update" for Dormer, I have created the development branch: https://github.com/NortheBridge/skin.arctic.zephyr.fromashes/tree/3.4.20-dormerfinal and this is the part where I realized I accidentally jumped the version 2 subversions.
While you're there, I know you were going to make a toggle for Danvers' notification but since it will be turned off at release it was something decided against; we should at the very least allow people who can't upgrade to Danvers yet the ability to turn off the notification saying "update to Krypton and Danvers."
So everyone: If you are running Dormer (AZ:FA 3.x/Kodi Jarvis) for one reason or another whether that reason is because your distribution hasn't updated or you're not ready to make the jump to Krypton, this is your last call for updates. There will be no more last calls after 3.4.20 unless we screw something up and it will be the final update.

Will there be any fix for the main menu not getting rid of stuff that's marked as unwatched? Like I watched Miami Vice and marked the show as unwatched but it's still on the main menu. Also.. what about the now playing osd?

1. HOME page Main Menu - I can change the menu highlight colour (Settings/Skin settings/Colours/)....is there a way to change the text colour of the menu items?
2. Is it possible to have a toggle switch to LEFT JUSTIFY the Home page Main menu? (I find left justified easier to read than right justified)

THIS RELEASE IS INTENDED FOR KODI 16 JARVIS ONLY AND IS PART OF THE "DORMER" RELEASE BRANCH. DO NOT DOWNLOAD FOR KRYPTON.
An issue with the Dormer End of Life Notification has been identified and patched. An option to turn off the notification will be a part of the "Dormer Last Call Update."
Please remember that Dormer (AZ:FA 3.x/Kodi Jarvis) has reached End of Life status. The "Last Call Update" is being done out of courtesy and once released there will be no future support or feature updates to the Dormer Branch.
The team is refocusing its efforts to Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes Danvers now which means that Dormer has reached End of Life. What does that mean?
- We Will No Longer Provide Support for Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes (Dormer) for Kodi 16 Jarvis
- There Is a Slight Possibility for a Release to Toggle the Danvers Update Notifications (for distributions waiting for Krypton releases)
