RE: Arctic Fuse - vspinnet - 2023-12-21 I really love the customizations I can make with this skin! One thing: when I search for the TV show Seinfeld, it defaults to movie results with "Seinfeld" until I click the TV Shows tab. Instead of having a Movies and TV Shows tab in the search filter, I'd rather have two search results shown (Movies and TV Shows). RE: Arctic Fuse - Carfer - 2023-12-21 I have a question, can the icons on the left side menu be changed? Where do I have to access to change those icons? Thank you RE: Arctic Fuse - vspinnet - 2023-12-22 (2023-12-21, 23:36)Carfer Wrote: I have a question, can the icons on the left side menu be changed? In the left menu, click the menu icon at the bottom, then pull all the way to the right to select Widgets. Now click on any left menu option where you'll then get options to make changes, including an Icon option. Although, I'm not sure you can change the Search, and the Menu icon with this method. RE: Arctic Fuse - Rf67 - 2023-12-22 How to add a menu item on the new customization window? Is there a limit number of menu items? In the left menu, click the menu icon at the bottom, then pull all the way to the right to select Widgets. Now click on any middle left menu option where you'll then get options to make changes, including an Add option to add a new menu item. I'm not sure about the limit. The default search in this mode is "All items" which combines movie and tvshow results. For addons, it is dependent on the addon providing a search which combines types, which is why it is specifically only available in the Library discover mode. Is there a limit number of menu items? The option to customise widgets can also be found in Skin Settings > Menus if you remove it from the power menu sidebar. There's no limit on number of items in the menus. For widgets, you can't have more than 90 widgets per category because above 90 you run out of valid IDs; but you shouldn't be getting anywhere close to that limit. While I have TV shows, and movies added to the library, any time I use the Library search, it returns nothing. I'd like to also mention that when you add a TV show to the library, an error is received suggesting that it wasn't successful, when in fact it was. The issue seems to be the time it takes for a TV show to be added to the library with many seasons and episodes, opposed to a movie. Works flawlessly, thanks for the update. The skin is getting better and better, hats off. RE: Arctic Fuse - loki00 - 2023-12-22 The latest update (v.0.4.38?)shows some really weird behaviour. If youre on the home page and scroll down to the last widget it will jump to the next menu item. And then if you scroll back up the highlight will completely disappear and youre left blindly scrolling through titles. Also when it bugs out i get an 'Alarm clock - Alarm!' notification that ive never ever seen before. Heres a screen capture of what im experiencing. https://youtu.be/utgi2hv3MVI Thanks! RE: Arctic Fuse - ambulancePilot - 2023-12-22 Definitely some unexpected navigational behavior with 0.4.38! I've gone back to .37 for now while I wait for .39 ![]() Even with little things like this, one of my favorite things is waking up, getting my coffee, updating this skin and seeing what's new! Also, just thought I would mention that .38 didn't fix the issue of widget name not appearing on home screen when using a combined widget from skin variables filter. I can provide a screenshot later if needed! RE: Arctic Fuse - jurialmunkey - 2023-12-23 (2023-12-22, 14:50)loki00 Wrote: The latest update (v.0.4.38?)shows some really weird behaviour. Also when it bugs out i get an 'Alarm clock - Alarm!' notification that ive never ever seen before. I use classic layout and can't reproduce this issue. I need more details. What version of Kodi are you using? Is this Nexus? (I'm on Omega so maybe that's why) Do you have disabled items in your lists? How can I create this setup to make this issue happen? Is there are anything in particular unusual about the widgets at the starts and ends of your groups? I'm not deliberately pushing broken changes, so if I create a new bug with a new change then it likely means I'm not aware of it. RE: Arctic Fuse - jurialmunkey - 2023-12-23 Ah you guys have unlocked your layouts. You must LOCK your layout once you are happy with the changes otherwise you will get weird behaviour. The unlocked state is only for configuring your layout, it is not for general use. Will get rid of this feature entirely in next update. There are too many repeated issues where users have left the widgets unlocked in configuration mode and then are surprised the skin doesn't work despite the help text recommending relocking after configuring. Yeah that seems to have fixed it. I just presumed the LOCK function was just to prevent family members from messing with settings lol. Ill be using it in the future now i know its intended use.
