I uploaded a new version that tweaked the way the imdb scraper works. That might be the problem, I've had no trouble scraping new movies, give it a try and see what happens.

Not sure whats going on, I've not run into any issues with scraping, and I even verified that I'm pulling data from themoviedb.org. However the images are usually stored elsewhere. I wonder if due to your location, the images are pulled from a different location.

shall give er a whirl , hope this fixes the issue ive had
update : a little bit better if at all !!!....still MANY that are missing ,posters and fanart wich get picked up by xbmc's internal imdb scraper with ease but not by ember once again the internal scraper uses the exact same scrapers for posters and fanart that ember uses ,you can check it yourself in xbmc -.-'
this deffinitely needs some polishing seriously no offense bodrick -.-' ...

Thanks for the screenshots, does shed some light, I'm curious, when you are scraping and you pick a poster/fanart, what do you see, or if you edit a movie manually and choose to scrap a poster etc, that might help me shed some light on the problem, I have an idea what it could be, but your feedback would help me even more. I'm guessing that its working for some and not for others, but I can't say, maybe I'll post a poll

No problems here but then again unlike Hentai, my library does not include cartoon porn.
Could it be the type of media being scrapped being the problem ?

ummmmm... toineb my anime / hentai is in a seperate directory exempt from ember if you wanna know since i use anidb scraper for that -.-'
btw bodrick i dont "pick" a poster or fanart i simply let ember do an automatic full library scrape with force best match / all items ....should usually do the trick
hell in xbmc's internal imdb scraper i pick up posters/fanart everything else up to 99% perfect if not 100% ....very odd that ember wont do the same hmmm...btw i keep my movies named correctly aka renaming disabled
heres a video i made for xbmc's problem with internal scraped movies not showing up in file mode
but it shows you well as an example how many movies havent been scraped by ember compared to the couple it successfully did scrape ..poster and fanart etc. wise

I did try it in VM, and for the moment that's just fine. However, with the latest version (and possibly older ones too) it you try to 'Scrape only missing info' from the button on top it starts scraping every single movie again. Even if it has been flagged as green beacaus the info is already available it starts all over again. I assume this is a bug which needs fixing.

Thanks for continuing the work on such a great tool.
I'd like to see addition of support for images beyond fanart and posters (clearart/logos/etc from fanart.tv) in a future version if there's enough interest.

I think I must be missing something. I didn't think EMM used IMDB for images/posters. Those came from other sources. When I scrape a movie that doesn't have a poster available, I use Media Companion and their IMDB poster scraper. Also, if the movie date/info on IMDB doesn't make TMDB...no posters/fanart from them. This sound about right
?
