I have something working now, but have to do some cleanup before drafting a PR. However, I'm rather busy and can hardly find the time to keep up with changes at ITVX, so don't hold your breath...

It takes 5 seconds to say yes or no. If it's no, life goes on, I won't hold my breath.

New features:
- Support for signed programmes. (Enable the new setting 'Use signed programmes whenever available').
- Live hero items (those in orange on the main menu) now have a context menu 'Watch from the start'.
Fixes:
- Collection ITV sport failed with KeyError('collection')
- Again, occasional sign-in errors for new users. Hopefully the final fix.
- A rare failure to list live channels.
- Adapt to changes at ITVX causing submenu 'My ITVX' to fail sometimes.

I'm unable to play any shows or live TV. I get an error HTTPERROR CONNECTION ERROR: FORBIDDEN.

Thank you for providing this addon and keeping it up to date but I am just curious as to why you do not use the streams used in the feature HD fork to give full 1080p HD video?

Doesn't work.
Live tv doesn't work at all.
Login has stopped working (i.e. it worked at some time in the past and now just gives "Login Failed. Try again?", which as you'd expect doesn't work). Logging in with the same credentials on the website DOES work.

There's no info in you post that brings us any closer to the cause of the issue(s). Can you make debug log en post a link here? Search the wiki on 'debug log' if you don't know how to do that.

There have recently been a number of changes at ITVX causing some problems with signing in to your ITVX account. Unfortunately, ITVX changes faster than I can fix.
The fix provided in the recently released version 1.4.0 also doesn't work anymore.
Existing users who are already signed in are not affected as long as they don't sign out. If you experience any issues with the add-on, the current advice is NOT to try to sign out and back in. This is usually not the solution anyway.
New users (and those who did sign out) will have to bear with me for while. I hope to have it fixed before too long.

The only reason I know for an HTTP 400 status is simply wrong credentials.
Can you double check you user name and password?
If the error persists you can try to set log level to 'debug' in viwx's settings and create a new debug log to see if there's some more info in the error description.
Also, I noticed that some strings in the log are malformed; e.g. the entry 'plugin.video.ijdberwww v4.1.2 installed' most likely concerns iplayerwww. I don't know whether this originates from your system, hastebin, or some software used in between, but it's certainly something you have to figure out before you can be sure your credentials are sent correctly.
