- XBMCG33K - 2009-03-08 Yes Xperience now has more than one font style to choose from. - paul - 2009-03-09 That's good - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-09 Anyone want to help out? Could use a couple more people for coding purposes! - paul - 2009-03-10 XBMCG33K Wrote:Anyone want to help out? Could use a couple more people for coding purposes!I only wish i had the know how to code as i would like to help the only thing i could offer is my time testing builds on either xbox or pc as i run both. and am currently testing another but would love to test when the time comes if you need it - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-10 Probably wont be much testing if we can't get a coder or two to help out this seems to be a pretty large project. - IllumiNaughty - 2009-03-11 I hope you get the help you need to make this. You may find it easy to just ask lots of questions and do lots of trial and error, code it yourself. Is minimalko still helping - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-11 Minimalko is still VERY much involved The work he has done is phenomenal. - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-13 Small update for the watchers: I know tons of pictures of the home screen (which is constantly evolving) is all you are seeing, but it's for a VERY good reason. We have a few surprises for all of you that i can say 100% are things I have never seen done before. PS. No idea why the screens look distorted but I promise it doesn't look like that normally. - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-13 Screens fixed - IllumiNaughty - 2009-03-13 It is looking nice! - timdog82001 - 2009-03-13 what's the thing at the top for? the "band, rss off, clock off" thing. That doesn't always show does it? I personally wouldn't particularly enjoy having a banner constantly reminding me what settings i have disabled. ah, now i see those things aren't actually disabled. Are those just buttons that allow you to enable/disable those features? Those seem like sort of one time settings that people aren't likely to change often. Is there a reason you have them on the home page like that? Don't get me wrong, it looks great, just seems like an odd thing to stick on the home page to me, but maybe I'm alone here. EDIT: Just to reiterate and not appear overly negative in this post, your work so far does look really excellent. Really refreshingly clean and uncluttered as well - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-13 timdog82001, I can see where you are coming from I do not take anything you have said as negative. I can agree with you on the annoyance of a constant reminder, sticking out like a sour thumb if it were. You are correct they will more than likely be options set only once and then left alone The screenshot are quite misleading however. I have intentionally left the buttons visible to give a sort of "hint" to what options are available (more to come i am sure) on the home screen. There are actually special settings per window which will be revealed more and more over time These can actually be access by pressing up on either the d-pad or the keyboard. If you have more questions feel free to ask. - asphinx - 2009-03-13 Here's my 2 c of creative feedback. One thing that always bothered me with Microsoft's NXE was that any theme purchased pre-NXE would have that ugly grey/silver "floor". Premium had different ones depending on the designer of that theme. Enough with the rant part, here's my feature request. Give the user options how the floor should look, I'm quickly thinking generic shades dark, medium and light. And maybe even the option to use your own, kinda like Aeon let's you define what backdrop to use for the different menus. Other than that I must say that I'm liking where this skin is going. - XBMCG33K - 2009-03-13 I do believe that most of what you are looking for is already incorporated - asphinx - 2009-03-14 Sweet.. |
