RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - orbtwin - 2013-04-23 i can't download extrafanart...i can preview all the images scrapped, then "accept images" but i can't get the folder extrafanart and the images inside. i'm missing an option? MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2013-04-24 @orbtwin: Make sure you've checked "separate folders" for your source in MediaElch -> settings -> global settings. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Linusorg - 2013-04-24 Good morning, Sorry to get back to a long lasting point:-) Is a multipart TV Show already in 1.6 or do we need to wait a bit longer ? Would be great if this would not get forgotten :-) RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2013-04-24 (2013-04-24, 07:43)Linusorg Wrote: Good morning, Yes, it's in! RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Linusorg - 2013-04-24 Great ! Cant wait for the weekend to test this Will post my results here :-) RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - orbtwin - 2013-04-24 (2013-04-24, 00:19)Komet Wrote: @orbtwin: Make sure you've checked "separate folders" for your source in MediaElch -> settings -> global settings. it worked...thx. was easy. great! RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - _J@n_ - 2013-04-24 Hi Komet, Thanks for the new version. This version automagically recognized my music videos for which I thank you! If I could post just two little wishes? 1 - Ability to read the seen/unseen status from my MySQL database which is stored on my NAS (both my XBMC installs use it) 2 - Missing fanart/CD Art/Extra Fanart/etc on TV shows - Similar to what you have created for movies (I mostly watch TV Shows on my setup) Again: Thank you! Proud to be a sponsor Greetz, _J@N_ RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2013-04-24 @_J@n_: Great to hear! 1) I've added this feature request but to be honest: it's not very likely to come in the near future but I'll keep this on a higher priority. 2) You mean the columns with the red/yellow/green icons? I'll add this with the next release Just need to think about how to make it not look too ugly RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Powerhouse - 2013-04-25 Komet, Let me just say, that after using numerous other Media Scrappers (Ember Media Manager, Media Companion, etc) , yours is the best hands down. And this latest release, with the addition of TVTunes just makes it that much better (and cooler). Now, enough with the flattery, on to the issues and requests... 1. When going into Movie Sets, and searching for Set Artwork (Harry Potter Collection for example), nothing is ever listed. Is this something we have to manually download the artwork, and point MediaElch to the correct file in the Movie Folder? Also, in a Movie Set, which Movie would get the Set Artwork (and for that matter, how do you name the Set Artwork), and how would MediaElch know which Movie to look into for the Set Artwork to show up correctly? 2. Is there a way to manually add a Movie or TV show to the database, that has been missed? Re-scanning doesn't seem to pick it up, but If I could just point to the folder the Movie is in, and do a Search for that Movie to select the correct one, and download all the Artwork and create the NFO files, that would be awesome. 3. In regards to number 2 above, would it be possible to have a count listed somewhere with total number of Movies or TV shows. So I could at least know if I'm missing some? I have a large library (over 1750 Movies, and 425 TV shows), so finding out If I'm missing any would be of value to me. For example, just upgrading to version 1.6, It found several Movies that weren't listed in version 1.5. Also, if you could break the listing down from not only a total count, but a count on each Drive the Movies or TVShows are from, that would further make it easier to pick out missing Movies/TVShows. Example: Total Movies: 1750 Movies from \\Server\Drive D: 458 Movies from \\Server\Drive E: 627 Movies from \\Server\Drive F: 559 Movies from \\Server\Drive G:106 Total TVShows: 425 TVShows from \\Server\Drive H: 252 TVShows from \\Server\Drove I: 173 Having my Movies/TVShows in separate folders, I could easily check each drive to verify they match the numbers listed in MediaElch. 4. Finally, Could you have the Concerts section also look for Music Videos using theAudioDB Music Video Scraper (http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=136105). This would be awesome for me as I have over 3000 Music Videos, and they only way currently to figure out why a Music Video wont get scrapped correctly is to look into the Log file. But If I could do a search like in MediaElch, I could then pick the correct data for the Music Video, and a NFO file would be created that XBMC could read. Thanks for your hard work on this, and keep up the good work. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2013-04-25 (2013-04-25, 19:00)Powerhouse Wrote: Komet, 1. There is currently no scraper which provides movie set artwork. So you have to look for it on your own. Have a look at http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=153502 I think it's good explained where and how the artwork is saved. It's the same what MediaElch does (setup is done in MediaElch -> Settings -> Movies) 2. Manually adding files is not possible. But it would be nice if you could tell me what movies/shows have been missed. I need to know about your folder structure and the actual file names. 3. Check MediaElch -> About. There are some (limited) stats about your collection. 4. TheAudioDb will be added as soon as they provide an API. That's what I mean exactly And some filter would be nice (similar to movies) while you are working on the redesign I hope I am not overstretching! Looking forward to a new version even though I am more than happy using the current one Greetz, _J@N_ RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Powerhouse - 2013-04-26 (2013-04-25, 19:07)Komet Wrote: 1. It's the same what MediaElch does (setup is done in MediaElch -> Settings -> Movies) Thanks for your info on this Komet, I do appreciate it. 1. Yeah, I've figured this out, the hard way. Lots of work creating NFO files for 3,000 music videos. Which is why I was hoping you would have a better solution for me. 2. I have Full folder DVD and BluRay, as well as some MKV files (that I've made from both DVD and BluRay's). One that I noticed I've missed is the DVD of Die Hard. It has the VideoTS folder. Also, according to XBMC I have 1751 movies, yet in MediaElch it shows I have 1830 movies which I have found to be correct by my own count of folders on each of my server's hard drives. What a pain in the butt, figuring out which files XBMC is missing, and then figuring out WHY? 3. Indeed the About MediaElch screen has the total counts for Movies\TV Show\Concerts. Now is there some way to put that on the main screen, say on the left side below Concerts. Like a box, that when you change between Movies, TV Shows and Concerts, that the box would display the count of each one as you clicked them. Might be harder to get a count of each Drive listed in Settings, but if you could get that as well, that would be awesome. 4. This would be awesome. But in it's current state, I would bet that will be several months away, at the least. RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Linusorg - 2013-04-27 Hi Komet, the new multipart DVD for TV-Shows is a lot better, thanks for that. I love it and we are making a huge step forward here. I notice that some shows are scanned correctly ( f.e. Ally McBeal ) aka Ally Mc beal S01E01E02E03E04 is split into 4 Episodes -> Great ! other Shows ( f.e. 24, alf ) are scanned partial correct, 24 S01E01E02E03E04 shows up as 4 times episode 1 which is not so nice :-) i tried reload all episodes, rescan new, refresh show and all episodes, etc. but no better results, any idea why this happens ? Thanks for for time RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - Komet - 2013-04-27 (2013-04-27, 12:26)Linusorg Wrote: Hi Komet, Can you please send me the file names of some of the files which are not handled correctly? RE: MediaElch - MediaManager for Mac/Linux/Win - ArieS - 2013-04-27 Hi Komet. Right before this latest release I was about to give up on MediaElch... It was taking a few minutes to load. Would crash pretty much all the time so it was pretty much useless. But since the last version it's night and day. Loads instantly, never crashes. Thanks a lot for a great software! My issue now though It seems MediaElch creates 2 nfos, one named titleofthemovie.nfo and one named movie.nfo I'm sure there's a reason to it. The one with the name of the movie gets the watched status updated but the movie.nfo does not. I've been trying to start with a fresh database but my watch status is not being imported because I guess XBMC looks into the movie.nfo to see the watch status. Is there a work around to have XBMC look into the other nfo (titleofthemovie.nfo)? Also another question. Maybe I'm doing something wrong because I'm sure someone would have reported that but here goes. When MediaElch scrapes the logo.png and the clearart.png, they are actually inversed. The logo is named clearart and the clearart is named logo. Thanks! |
