a myvideos#.dB file as explained a couple posts back would be helpful as well

Not sure it's an issue with the database, I have the same problem on my tablet (Nexus 7, Android 4.4.2) but not on my phone (Nexus 5, Android 4.4.4). Connecting to the same install of Kodi 14.1 and a MySQL database.

On phone Movie has poster and fanart side by side:

On phone TV has banner at the top.

On tablet in movie info screen neither the poster or fanart load.

On tablet in TV Info top image doesnt load, take it it's meant to be the fanart?

Hope this helps.

From the screenshots i would say that your phone is not running the latest version since the latest version shows the fanart on top of the tv show screen and there are icons in the movie details page instead of text buttons

Never actually checked the version numbers, Updated my phone and it now has same issues as my tablet, I'll roll both back to version 2.1 until there's a fix.

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - Millencolin007 - 2015-02-14

Finally found what is not working. I didn't set username / password on my installation...
The app is using a special image loader for fading in the fanart and movie posters and the image urls must be missing the authentication credentials. I will fix this and publish a new release. If you disable authentication in kodi it should work already.

Can confirm now working without authentication until updated apk is released, thanks.

I have released a new version in playstore which should fix the issue with loading fanart. Will be available in a couple of hours

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - xabih - 2015-02-15

When I tap on "My radio stations" nothing happends, how this option works? Is for PVR radio channels?

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - Millencolin007 - 2015-02-15

The idea is that you can have a quick access to play an online radio stream.

To add a radio station:
When browsing through addons or file sources you can long press on any file and add it as a radio station into the main menu. I use it to pin radio stations from the radio addon to the main menu but you can pin any file from your file sources or addons

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - johnston0536 - 2015-02-16

Sorry I was M. I. A. for a bit and didn't get back to you. Just wanna say all fanart loads perfectly now, and the load time is way faster too. Thank again for the amazing work, love this app!

OK.

It would be nice to work in like manner for PVR radio channels Smile

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - Millencolin007 - 2015-02-16

Just added support to pin PVR radio & tv channels... will be in the next version

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - oscarhugo - 2015-02-25

Hello, vĂdeo addons like tvalacarta or pelisalacarta doesn't work correctly, start to play and stop 1 second later. Other android app has no problem to playing those contents.

Waiting your answer,
Thanks & Regards

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - Millencolin007 - 2015-02-25

I have fixed the issue, will be in the next release. The app is adding the files to the queue and then start playing the queue. For some unknown reason playback stops quickly after starting in some cases. The workaround is to play the file without adding it to the queue first.

PS: You can use the feature "Show directory on Kodi" to display the current directory on Kodi and start playback that way. This is also useful to access the context menu inside an addon.

RE: Music Pump Kodi Remote - kupi - 2015-03-06

Hi Millen,

*I noticed something weird: When I Use the app to play music locally, there is a button to change the audio output either to my kodi device or play it directly on the tablet running the app. Once I have changed this setting so that the music from the tablet is streamed to the kodi device, I can no longer exit the local mode/access the kodi device's own library. when I choose it in the app's main menu, it will still show the local library (library of the files stored on the tablet). I need to kill the app to be able to access the kodi library again.

*On the other hand, the output button seems to be missing when I am not in "local" mode. Wasn't it possible before to stream music from the kodi device to my tablet/smartphone? I would love to see this button added e.g. to the "now playing" screen.

*Because actually, streaming music from the Kodi device to the tablet/smartphone is working. The app seems to stream music to my smartphone instead of playing it directly on the kodi device when I have bluetooth headphones connected to it.

*Here is where it gets really interesting: I think you might consider this a bug as well as a feature Smile Say I have a smartphone and a tablet, both running the remote app and a third device running kodi. Now on my smartphone, I go to the local mode and start playing a song. I then change output to the kodi device and the song will be streamed to the Kodi device. I now take the tablet and start a local song here, too and also set output to the kodi device. the kodi device now plays the song from the tablet. When I now take the smartphone and change the audio output back to local, the tablet's song will no longer be streamed to the kodi device but will be played on my smartphone. Interestingly, I am not able to control the song's playback via the smartphone's app but only from the tablet's app.

*I also noticed that you have changed the position of the "notification" banner (the blue banner showing messages like "logging in to 192.xxx.xxx.xxx) to the top of the screen, but it still overlaps with elements of the app. As a suggestion, would it be possible to let the banner appear at the very top of the screen but also shift everything else down while the banner appears so it doesn't hide anything?

*Then, I really like the new radio stations feature, but it would be cool if you could add m3u's that contain more than one adress, like when a radio station has multiple backup servers. At the moment I can only add each adress separately.

*I noticed how the bottom bar will not fade out correctly after you scrolled down and up again for a few times without lifting your finger in between.

*One last thing Smile This app would finally become my one and only media app for everything if the local mode had a folder view...

Sorry for the long post, but this really is the most awesome app I own Smile If it had local folder view and I could stream music from Kodi to my smartphone it would be asolutely perfect.

Thank you!
Kupi

P.s.: I finally got streaming of tv series to my tablet back to work (remember, I was fighting with kodi not finding the files in the sources.xml a few pages back). I manually had to add /var/ to the paths in the sources.xml, because kodi messed that up when automatically adding the paths of my usb sticks to this file.

I have seen this happen occasionally on my device but could not reproduce the exact steps. Your instructions seem to be able to reproduce it all the time. Will check why it does not work.

You probably have enabled "use kodi queue" in the main menu which disabled this feature

basically the last device which starts playback on kodi gets control and the other apps are smart enough to realize that someone other started playback. If you want to control the same queue from multiple devices enable "use kodi queue"

That't because I changed from android actionbar to toolbar and the notification is put on top of the screen because of this. I am not entirely happy with this solution but until I find something better I keep it that way. Just putting it back below the actionbar looks wierd on some screens because the artwork goes behind the actionbar now. Maybe your idea could work but this would require me to rewrite a part of the library I use

You could add the m3u's to favorites section which should support adding a m3u playlist. Currently I only want to support files which can be played directly and I think that there are still some issues when queuing a m3u (without editing advanced settings first)

"folder view" kind of exists, you can just use any file explorer and use it to open / share files with files music pump. Adding a real file mode inside the app would require me to rewrite the playqueue feature and is quite a bit of work

Again, probably you just enabled "use kodi queue" and you can't see the "cast" button
