Actually have done with a variable that should show "Raspberry OS" figured that eventually there would be other OS plugins. If any problems eg label width or incorrect display will change to your suggestions

One other thing which I'm not sure is skin or raspbmc. Sometimes the display doesn't brighten after being away for a while. I have to reboot to get it back to full brightness.

I think it's XBMC as I've noticed that with Confluence and screensaver set to dim. Hasn't happened in a while, but I've been running Gotham - haven't had time to check.

Actually this MOD was done because of the pi - didn't like the way all others skins were going on diet just to run on one
However there have been a couple of guys that have run it just turn off the options that move eg cdart, scrolling etc.
I really like being able to have the icons displayed on the main screen for ease of access for my wife and kids. I don't need many more, but having up to 10 would be a nice option. I assume you can't have icons instead of text as part of the sub menus?

Problem is where to put an extra 5 Icons & labels of reasonable length as space on left is reserved for now playing.

As I mentioned, it works when played from the library, so the art is definitely there and can be seen.

Only understand half of the discussions about this skin. But know that it is working well. Am kind of real happy about this. It's just so nicely functional.
Has anyone had success in using ARTIST SLIDESHOW consistently with this skin? Can't seem to get it working in either win7-64 platform or raspberry pi platform.

Actually, I've just reinstalled this MOD after using "Gotham" for awhile and must admit I seem to just have a black screen ATM, Artist bio is downloading but fanart is missing - will look at it.
Anyone else having problems with Artist Slideshow ?

As you can see at the bottom left on the OSD there is just a generic video image. I have the fanart, clearart, clearlogo, and logo for this particular show and nothing seems to show on the OSD.

No Its called Gold Rush Alaska which may be hard to see, 4x5 is season 4 ep 5. It is playing directly from the folder from my library which is set up with all the metadata and info.

Still say both cases(jrock600 & jmh2002) the media is not in your library properly. The fallback image shown in the screenshot comes from the following code

</control>Which basically falls back to the default image if there is no clearart, logo or thumb associated in the xbmc database with the media playing.
To try be a bit clearer this MOD does not pick up images from the folder or drive but from the XBMC database. Try making sure artwork.downloader is setup properly and manually run it or bring up the media info screen from your list of episodes and set the artwork there.
@jmh2002 - got the strm file, will play around with something similar later
