RE: CCM for Helix - wpbpete - 2015-02-16 Anybody got Cinema Experience working yet? If I select "set time" in the context menu the recording menu does not come up and I'm unable to set the recording. Had to go back to stock confluence for now, and that makes me a sad boy Hello Mudislander, Your RecordPrefs.xml doesn't work. I need to replace your C:\Users\Chris\AppData\Roaming\Kodi\addons\skin.ccm.helix\720p\RecordPrefs.xml by C:\program files\kodi\addons\pvr.nextpvr\resources\skins\skin.confluence\720p\RecordPrefs.xml... It keeps the basic look and feel of Confluence but lets me add custom menu items on the home screen easily and doesn't require hours of tweaking to work the way I want it to. Hi Mudislander, I just wanted to thank you again for the work you've put into CCM. I was wondering though if you think that there might be a fix in the future for my issue that I posted about a while ago? I'm not trying to be annoying or bug you by asking again. I know from reading through the forum that you were busy for a while so I wasn't sure if maybe the issue had been missed. Since I posted I've tried the skin on a completely different system running Openelec as well as upgraded to 3.0.9 with the same issue so I don't think it's an isolated problem on my side. The issue is not a huge problem for me as there are workarounds but I'd like to install the skin on my parent's HTPC to take advantage of the custom items on the main menu. I know that will open a can of worms though as they both use the click and grab method to scroll through the library and you know what they say about teaching an old dog new tricks. If you think there is any possibility the issue might be resolved I will wait for a fix but if not I may have to try to teach them some new navigation techniques. Thanks again. RE: CCM for Helix - flhthemi - 2015-02-17 @bongdvm Got an old android cell phone? Put Yatse remote on it for the old folks. I'm 64 and I learned to use it. Still prefer the mouse to anything else but it's got no volume control and with Kodi once you turn on passthrough the available sliders from the OSD audio icon no longer function. Any chance we will see a return or should I rollback? Thanks for the tips! As for the debate, hitting the "Reset to Default" button should end it. I'm the type that tends to change backgrounds at least monthly, and having a near-perfect font colour to pull the whole skin together makes Kodi feel that much more "my own." I appreciate the suggestion but unfortunately no old android cell phones. They have an old non smartphone that needs to be replaced and I'm dreading opening that can of worms as well! I actually got them a remote control that works pretty well but they still reach for the mouse to do most things. Even I have to admit that the buttons on the remote are way too small though. The one thing they do use it for is to turn subtitles off and on because it's just one button push instead of all the navigation with the mouse that was required. As I said, if the issue can't be fixed then I will just tell them to use the remote to scroll through the library. If they insist on using the mouse I discovered that if you put the pointer in the scroll bar area then use the wheel on the mouse that it scrolls through quickly. Thanks again for the suggestion though! Works for me, but I did have to turn off the "Enable Q Instructions" Also must be added to menu through CCM's add menu item - under movies is "Cinema Experience" RE: CCM for Helix - xbmcwayist - 2015-02-17 When using Super Favourites addon, I noticed its right context menu does not quite fit. The text for the options in this context menu are far off the right side of the box, and only some of the writing can be seen. Anybody else have this issue on Super Favourites using this skin? RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-17 That's because it's not "Helix" compatable & why I've not gone further with it. The "right" aligment has changed in latest Kodi versions & the plugin needs to catch up. RE: CCM for Helix - yuvyuv - 2015-02-17 HI, The New media banners shown in post 1913321 (post) looks mega cool. Am I missing something? how do I enable this? I've been scrolling through the options for almost an hour and can't seem to find it. Using 3.0.9 RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-17 Hmm, I turned them off as no one seemed to get the concept. So only watched banners in "FullWall View" ATM - I will be putting them as an option across other "poster" type views and don't mind including the "New" banners if wanted. And yes they are just "Unwatched" movies, but on an established video library the unwatched stuff is new. RE: CCM for Helix - yuvyuv - 2015-02-17 Yes, it would be great RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-17 "Convergence" has them RE: CCM for Helix - wpbpete - 2015-02-17 (2015-02-17, 08:54)Mudislander Wrote:(2015-02-16, 22:02)wpbpete Wrote: Anybody got Cinema Experience working yet?
