im having an issue with my TV series not showing pictures on the folders where i have different season, the episodes inside the folders have all the art and plots, just no thumbs or backdrops for the season. any ideas how to fix? thanks for the great MOD

I have added what I can using the favourites widget, which helps, but it only holds so much, (and she forgets to look through them, so she sees only 4/10) And, it displays the same thing (no choice of which favs, only top 10) no matter which home menu button you add it to.
My suggestion/request is this: to add an option to use addon shortcuts as a widget item. I don't know if this is possible, since you didn't write the widgets, but it would solve the space limitation. And it would help all the computer/XBMC illiterate, including my wife.
One last question: How do you enable the holiday theme? Tinkered a little this morning, but couldn't figure it out.
Have to say, as one final note, LOVE this skin! It has all the stuff I need, and more. I brag about it whenever I can. Keep up the good work.

have the widget as "favourites". this will show the top 4 items in your favourite list.
edit: just realised you did that already. that gives you 9 altogether. if u include the 5 from the widget and the 4 from the favourites. that no good?

She mainly likes three live streaming channels. I have found them on various addons, and have created several back-ups through Advanced Launcher. Plus I have added other things to the home screen to try to make things as easy as possible for her. If she has to take too many steps into an addon, she gets lost. Computers are new to her. Combine that with her poor eyesight and she gets lost. It's hard for her to remember where to go to see what she wants when she either cann't or doesn't want to see her favourite three. I also stated she forgets to look through the favs widget (the home screen favs [* in bottom left corner] are too small) so she sees only 4 on the screen. A larger # of easily identifiable short cut buttons, tailored to each home menu button would be perfect.
I did not write to request this though, only to add my voice to this matter. I also wanted to suggest adding them to the widget spots, if possible, because that would solve the problem about room on the screen. I don't really use the widgets, and only have 3 on; weather, favs, and random movies. I like the background art, and the way we can choose art from any folder for any button. I have to complement Mudislander again for his work. (Thank You). I was originally reading to try to find out how to enable the holiday theme and reread the old posts about addon buttons, saw the quoted reply, and thought I'd suggest something.
A couple of months ago I was going to write in asking if it was possible to have different favs in the fav widget for different home buttons. What I mean is, Movies button w/ fav widget w/ favs 1-10, TV button w/ favs widget w/ favs 11-20, Music button w/ favs widget w/ favs 21-30, etc. Whatever favs we choose to put in the widget for whatever button we choose. That would also take care of adding more shortcuts to the home screen and save space. Then I realized the widgets were borrowed (I guess) and not written by Mudislander (no disrespect intended) and I scrapped the idea, 'til now.
Anyway, sometimes more is better, including opinions (to a point of course).

i have what i hope is a small request.
a control to maintain the aspect ratio of all background images.
i am still using an old ctr and the backgrounds and fanart look so much better in a wide screen format.
if this is to much trouble or if it is not of interest to anyone else could someone please point me where i could manually make this change. i remember reading somewhere how to do it but can't find it now.

Great idea to add this mate. Can you tell me please how to change the background image while keeping the snow? I looked through your addon and found the "Holiday" folder containing two backgrounds. I added my favourite backgrounds but I can't find an option to alter the Holiday Theme background....I suppose I'll have to do some xml editing? Great skin by the way!
P.S Not wanting to get into trouble for cross posting but I linked to a small zip archive (8mb) of premium backgrounds on a "Christmas Mod" thread. Here's the link if anyone's interested...not sure how suitable they are yet because I can't find the option I mentioned:

Go to the normal background options and select the folder or single image for the holiday theme - same as other backgrounds.

Hello,
I am trying to edit the LiveTV submenu to show the EPG-Timeline, but I don't see the submenu for LiveTV in the Skin settings - Submenu items. Do i need to enable it somehow? I have a LiveTV menu, and have already enabled the TV- Settings.

It's because of the problems with the XBMC repository and CCM cannot download the required scripts, should work once everything is up and running again.

Had this happen this morning to me also mudslinger. Where dependent apps could not be downloaded. Now it's working fine. Literally had to uninstall and reinstall again.
But.... It's fantastic!! Everything seems to be working very well. In particular the ARTIST ARTWORK automatic plugin works nicely with this skin for my music.
Tried on RASPBERRY PI and on WIN7 platforms with success.
