You are using old plug-in version of super favourites. Go and install new version, it's fixed.

I completely agree! The stock Confluence skin just crashed at Exit from Kodi! That's a first for me but I'm glad about it. Just confirms it's NOT CCM!
And I have even bigger issues than crashing on Exit....
For some reason I can't even get Kodi to start due to some bug regarding Audio devices and thankfully Fritsch has been nice enough to provide us with a custom build with a delay to get 14.1 working...
Kodi also crashes on media change when using Play from here...
14.2 is up now so lets hope that solves many of our problems because I am so unenamoured with Kodi at this point I am truly considering going back to XBMC until such time as Kodi stabilizes.

Oh ok. I glanced but thought the earlier questions related with Cinema Experience, not Super Favourites.
Anyway, thanks for letting me know. How would I go about updating to the latest super favourites? I seem to have the latest from the repos already installed.

Problem with "RecordPrefs.xml" is more than one pvr plugin uses it - A total stuff up on their behalf as they're all different and there's no way of telling which one you want. - Complain to the plugin authors !!
CD-Wall can be dynamic depending on your system. First looks for the "Album Thumbnails" path which can be set in "SkinSettings-->ScriptOptions-->CentralizedFanartDirectories" A brilliant addon for this is Artwork Organizer by ronie - I highly recommend it for that whole section of centralized directories.
If there is no "Album Thumbnails" path then CD-Wall tries to pick up random thumbnails from the skin.widgets script, these don't change as often. Finally it falls back to the "Latest 10 Albums" which hardly ever change, and of course failing everything or missing artwork we get flaming guitars.
Weather works off the "code" supplied by the weather plugin, so not really seasonal - but you wont see any cold misty backdrops in the middle of summer
What we really need is images from a webcam with a good "interesting" backdrop for each of the 47 odd weather codes - Unfortunately I don't live somewhere interesting like the Scottish Highlands where I could get all the icy,misty,sunny etc days or nights that the weather supplies.

At least you're not in Ontario, Canada right now where all we're getting is snow and -25C temperatures.

Actually don't like this time of year - back home it's SUMMER and I used to live near the beach, only had to wear a fleece for about 2 weeks of the year.

Backgrounds "live content" are set by service.skin.widgets?
And in which .xml file can we change background image used for "live content".I would use a red theme...

With the skin "Confluence", when displaying EPG during live TV, live TV stay in background.
With your skin, live TV is hidden by the default background when EPG is displayed.

Re: Background behind the "Live Home" - It uses the "SkinDefault" or theme wallpaper, so if you change your theme it should change. If you want to edit it you'll find the code below in the "Includes.xml"

</control>Actually looking at that code there's a bug there. Not supposed to happen, and without checking - I bet if you set the skin to a Global Background, then select the background you want behind your live home screen. Then unset the Global background back to Individual images for the Home screen and set your Live Home screen - You'll probably get the image you want behind them. Because the only thing the code above is looking for is if there is an image path for the globalbackground - not if the globalbackground is selected.

I believe it was v3.07. I mentioned it a few pages back, but I'm not sure if others are seeing the same thing. Mine is all blue and it's hard to tell the video progress from the buffer. Thanks for looking.
Edit: I tried on another PC and it's doing the same thing. Version 3.06 was the last one that worked right. Both video and buffer progress are the same color, the seek bar is floating in the wrong place, and when using a mouse the seek function works but doesn't put you where you click. Also, the video title and codec info are missing from the OSD.
