RE: Arctic Fuse - cool0007 - 2024-01-02

Tell me how to return scrolling through parts of a media library or list in a horizontal view, as it was before? Flicking in vertical view does not work correctly with automatic trailers. Or should I go back to the old version of the skin if there are no plans to change the scrolling?

If there are bugs, then make a bug report.
I can't fix bugs if I don't know about them...

Thank you very much for helping me, in addition to adding the Spanish language folder to the tmdb helper folder, do I have to do something else within an xml file or some other? I say this because I have added the folder to your site and the clearlogo or artwork, whatever they are called in English, continue to appear or they do not appear and clock and day appear. Within the TMDB helper settings I have set .es in language. Thank you so much

Configure the TMDB helper. Create a pull request of the translation for my fork.

Configured correctly, it will show the name of the film or series in your language.

RE: Arctic Fuse - theo08 - 2024-01-04

first of all thank you for this awesome skin!

two questions though:

1) is there any way to adjust sound settings ? in the default Kodi skin while playing media you can enter sound settings and adjust "center downmix" to amplify the center speaker which is very helpful for some media.

2) is there any way to adjust the spotlight menu (items, sorting, etc) and respective submenus (probably a dumb question, haven't found it so far though)?

thanks againe

1) Same way as in default skin. Click the audio icon on the OSD while the video is playing (press select/ok to bring up controls - audio icon on right side).
2) Skin settings > Menus > Customise widgets.

For standard widgets (i.e. if you set one widget to genres and you want the next to show the contents)
Choose widget > Shortcut > Experimental > Stacked folder.

For submenu widgets (i.e. you have a submenu of genres and you want a widget underneath to show contents)
Click submenu item > Options > Choose submenu list (choose your genres folder)
Then enable "Use as widget" in the submenu options.

RE: Arctic Fuse - olevelo - 2024-01-05

After years of using the default skin, I finally decided to change.  I tried out a few and AH2 and AF are definitely my favorites.  I see that AH2 isn't going to be updated much anymore, and there are definitely a lot of things I like better in Fuse anyway.  But there's a couple big gotchas that I can't figure out.  This is my first time using these advanced skins with widgets so it might be something easy I'm missing.  But the first, is there any way to have a wall poster view?  This is easy in AH2 and other skins, but I can't find anything in Fuse.  I see the "fake" wall (I saw posts from the last few weeks about it) when pressing up in a Library, but I want to click on Movies, or at least Titles, and set that view to a poster wall (or even info wall) view that scrolls vertically.  Right now not having this is a pretty big deal breaker for using the skin, but no other skin has all the other beautiful features this has!

The other thing that is in AH2 that I don't see a way to enable here are the media icons for a movie (UHD, Atmos, DTS, etc) displayed in the "live" info while browsing.  I can see it when clicking into the information.  I'd like this as a row of info below the ratings, or at the bottom of the screen (and the username can be removed...why is that there?!)...somewhere is better than nowhere!

RE: Arctic Fuse - olevelo - 2024-01-05

This was actually another question I had, how to build a "genres" widget list where I could scroll down and see horizontal lists of each genre...this worked perfectly!  Still trying to get a good handle on categories and submenus and lists and how to get it to add a single item instead of populating 20 items...but getting there!
