I was testing other skins and when i came back to CCM my movies and video backgrounds are random movie covers from my library.. What setting do I uncheck or check to get my custom background back? BTW when i go to background settings it shows as my custom and even chose it again but get movie covers,, Thx

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-19

Under SkinSettings-->HomeMenuitems-->Your Menu item Does it say "User Select" under background type?

I believe it was v3.07. I mentioned it a few pages back, but I'm not sure if others are seeing the same thing. Mine is all blue and it's hard to tell the video progress from the buffer. Thanks for looking.

Edit: I tried on another PC and it's doing the same thing. Version 3.06 was the last one that worked right. Both video and buffer progress are the same color, the seek bar is floating in the wrong place, and when using a mouse the seek function works but doesn't put you where you click. Also, the video title and codec info are missing from the OSD.

Ok I do remember Big Grin and yes they should be different colours, I'll look into the seek bar.

Just had a quick look - RE your comment on video title and codec info missing, and here's a screenshot - Is that the info you're not seeing ?

Next attempt to confuse everybody Big Grin Translations, rather than setting up another whole new skin on Transifex - I've updated CCM Gotham GitHub to Helix, not something I was going to-do, but it makes sense.

Here is Translation Page - It may need a couple of days to reflect the changes, but anyone interested in translating can start watching it.

So now the problem!! There's now 2 github accounts for CCM Helix version and for the moment I don't mind keeping them in sync, but that will become an issue sooner or later. Probably the best thing for us to-do is all bite the bullet and change the Repo over to the original CCM github version - but that will mean installing as a completely new skin - with translations.

The upside is although some of you guys have been around from the start of CCM-Helix and have your menus set up, there are internal settings that have changed and are now redundant - a new install would flush them out.

Anyway will not do anything yet - let you guys have a chance to comment.

Hi Mudislander Smile

Are Logo's and ExtraFanArt enabled yet? TV Shows don't display a Logo or any ExtraFanArt, however Movies DO show Logo's, which has me confused.

This is on a Win7 set-up, and using a different skin (Transparency!) everything works fine, however my main rig is a RPi2, which I can't get to at the moment, but has the same problems.

Just wondered if it was user error on my part, or a setting that isn't enabled yet. I noticed in view options MediaInfo3 has a toggle for "Enable Logo's" but flicking that doesn't change anything.

Best wishes and good work on the Skin! Big Grin

Short to the point answer - Not yet

Long winded answer Wink From what I remember Transparency! (Cool Skin BTW) gets the logo's and stuff from the media folders, while I usually use the Kodi Database. IMO it's faster, but you miss some of the artwork - normally running Artwork.Downloader fixes that. However in Convergence (Which is now where stuff is going first before CCM) I've added a "get from folder" toggle in the settings.

Without checking - The toggle in MediaInfo3 is either trying to get logo's from DBase as above - or I didn't finish that option before deciding to rollback CCM a little. I'm actually working on the MediaViews in Convergence as we speak for it's next release and including logo's discart etc. The options that work and are wanted in CCM will be ported across quite easily.

Ah I see, all good news then, I'll be patient a little longer and not pester you Wink

I'll give Convergence a whirl in the meantime, you never know, it might stick!

And yes, Transparency! is a very cool Skin, I installed it after reading the first post of this very thread ... if YOU recommend it, then it has to be good, ain't CCM though Nod

Probably shouldn't be, but "Random FanArt " is the default - Usually I leave my preferences as default because I'm always switching in and out to test things, CCM-Helix I've been trying for a default Confluence but a few personal choices have still crept in.

Do yourself a favour, wait until the weekend and the next update of "Convergence" before looking at it Wink

RE: CCM for Helix - evangelion - 2015-02-19

Too late ...

*Edit:* cant find the "get from folder" option though? But enabling other artwork under view options triggers the Logo's etc ... Nice work!

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-19

Yeah, that still may be only on my PC, Have redone all the views Hybrid style On my system SkinSettings-->GeneralSettings--> Under heading "Media View Options" is toggle for "Enable (Slower) File System Search for Additional Artwork" definitely in next (Convergence) update.

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-19

Actually wrong thread to talk about this, but re additional artwork in Convergence - What I think is cool - Turn off background fanart so only shows red curtains then use wide list for media view and turn on Additional Artwork.

Couldn't resist a screenie Big Grin

OK so I have Hybrid Dev Repo installed now which has 2 skins CCM Helix V3.09 and Convergence V3.01. Is this the one to have or if I need a different one is it in Fusion and what's it's name? OR do I need a link to the git for the repo? You're right - you just confused the hell out of an old man Wink

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-19

Nope, that's the right one - Hybrid Repo is mine and will always have the latest CCM, Convergence & Hybrid (eventually)

Others like "Fusion" and "SuperRepo" run around scrounging whatever they can find - without permission BTW - and I cannot guarantee what or which version they contain.

Don't worry about changing anything right now. Before a big decision like the change I mentioned is made there has to be much soul searching Big Grin and also I will definitely say - "Now Folks"
