RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - bluenote - 2015-03-12 (2015-03-12, 20:36)nickr Wrote: What version of kodi is in raspbian? I get the latest, but I get it from here: http://michael.gorven.za.net/raspberrypi/xbmc Re: pvr.mythtv add-on - nickr - 2015-03-12 What version of kodi? RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - bluenote - 2015-03-12 14.1. I'm running raspbian, because I needed to install the full backend for mythtv, and I wanted some kind of remote control as well. RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - nickr - 2015-03-12 You have a couple of choices - ask the raspbian people, or compile yourself. Are you sure pvr.mythtv isn't a separate package? EDIT sorry I was being rushed out the door and didn't get to finish. On ubuntu you have to install the pvr packages individually like Code: sudo apt-get install kodi-pvr-mythtv I don't know if it is the same in raspbian. Raspbian is kind of EOL anyway, so I am not sure if it is the best choice for ongoing support. This pvr addon is under constant development and improvement. EDIT: more apologies, raspbian is not EOL, raspbmc is. Silly me. RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - BenH - 2015-03-12 typo? kodi-pvr-mythtv RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - nickr - 2015-03-13 (2015-03-12, 23:30)BenH Wrote: typo? kodi-pvr-mythtvThank you, corrected now! I assume, because Im a newb, that the addon Im getting is coming from the external repo I added (which is listed in the xbmc wiki as of today anyways). But the mythtv addon I get is 1.9.29 and it doesn't perform well. The original xbmc wiki page I was referring to was saying that would be cmyth, but I can't find that page anymore, and at this point I'm not so sure. RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - nickr - 2015-03-13 cmyth is the old addon, uses a different method of communicating with mythbackend. Forgetaboutit its dead. 1.9.29 is old. I am on 1.12.something. However where you will get a raspbian package I don't know. janbar maintains a ubuntu ppa but I am not sure if it: 1. compiles for arm; or 2. is compatible with debian. https://launchpad.net/~jlbarriere68/+archive/ubuntu/ppa RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - teeedubb - 2015-03-13 You can compile on raspbian using the Ubuntu instructions here: http://kodi.wiki/view/MythTV_PVR/BuildFromSource The only thing I did differently was not install ubuntu-restricted-extras Here is v1.12.10 for Helix https://www.dropbox.com/s/qzp0qrefqj8b9io/pvr.mythtv-linux.zip?dl=0 RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - bluenote - 2015-03-13 (2015-03-13, 04:56)teeedubb Wrote: You can compile on raspbian using the Ubuntu instructions here: http://kodi.wiki/view/MythTV_PVR/BuildFromSource Thank you! Much appreciated! RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - mikebetz42 - 2015-03-15 Where can I get the OpenElec Cubox-i myth-pvr versions? I no longer see them on the cloud.... I let you know when available. I removed old binary because those platforms often don't have hardware supported by Kodi. Use it as your risk . RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - se99paj - 2015-03-15 I'm trying to get my recordings into the tv show menu, I've added the "Recordings" option as a source in the File menu. I've taken a look at the logs and picked out one where the program has worked and one where it hasn't. Quote:10:15:01 T:4940 DEBUG: VideoInfoScanner: No NFO file found. Using title search for 'pvr://recordings/Default/NCIS/NCIS - Ships in the Night, TV (5 Later), 20150308_200500.pvr' In Mythtv the following metadata is stored: Title: NCIS Subtitle: Ships in the night Seas/Ep: 8x11 It looks like the season episode data isn't correct. The only program that seems to be working is this one: Quote:10:15:44 T:4940 DEBUG: VideoInfoScanner: No NFO file found. Using title search for 'pvr://recordings/Default/Fresh Meat/Fresh Meat - S02, E08, TV (4Music), 20150226_001300.pvr' In Mythtv the following metadata is stored: Title: Fresh Meat Subtitle: S02, E08 Seas/Ep: BLANK Is there a way to get the Season/Episode from Mythtv into the VideoInfoScanner in the correct format? I'm happy to try and test separately but could do with some pointers where to look. Now there you can find available binaries and others news, updated when i have time to do ![]() URL is http://janbar.github.io/pvr.mythtv/index.html It will replace my cloud, and any body can send me a pull request to update the pages. Specially for the manual, where i written "todo" everywhere, or also propose new tutorial page ... i let you have a look. EDIT: I updated the Kodi wiki page to add the new download link RE: pvr.mythtv add-on - janbar - 2015-03-15 (2015-03-15, 13:30)se99paj Wrote: I'm trying to get my recordings into the tv show menu, I've added the "Recordings" option as a source in the File menu. In fact , it is not related to the addon itself. Kodi PVR recordings haven't infos about season or episode like MythTV. You should open thread in right section about TV Show. Seems the scanner doesn't run as expected. Else you could propose a new feature to include these info in PVR recordings. Code: (required) unique id of the recording on the client. |
