I believe it was v3.07. I mentioned it a few pages back, but I'm not sure if others are seeing the same thing. Mine is all blue and it's hard to tell the video progress from the buffer. Thanks for looking.

Edit: I tried on another PC and it's doing the same thing. Version 3.06 was the last one that worked right. Both video and buffer progress are the same color, the seek bar is floating in the wrong place, and when using a mouse the seek function works but doesn't put you where you click. Also, the video title and codec info are missing from the OSD.

Ok I do remember Big Grin and yes they should be different colours, I'll look into the seek bar.

Just had a quick look - RE your comment on video title and codec info missing, and here's a screenshot - Is that the info you're not seeing ?

Image

I just compared and I noticed with default Confluence (and CCM Gotham), if you move the mouse on the screen or hit the 'M' key, you should get the full OSD with video title, player controls, codec info, dvd thumbnail, and the top and bottom of the screen have this black shade effect...

...when you press the 'I' key, or 'info' on remote control, it should look exactly like your picture...same OSD only missing the player controls.

With the new CCM Helix skin, when I press 'I', or remote 'info', it looks like it should, just like your picture, but when I move the mouse on screen, or press the 'M' key, the video title and codec info are now missing and I notice the top of the screen gets that black shade effect but the shading is missing on the bottom part of the screen so the player controls look like they have 100% transparency. Also, the thumbnail, or DVD cover picture, is missing on both types of my OSD, but maybe that's just a setting I overlooked.
Thanks.

Edit: OK, I just noticed if I turn on the option 'Enable Video OSD Information on Pause', then both my OSDs look and work correctly, including the seek function and seek slider (other than the single seek bar color). I don't like OSD info on pause so I always have that turned off, and that's what messes up the 'M' key OSD. I got my thumbnails working...it was just a setting.

RE: CCM for Helix - Mudislander - 2015-02-19

Sorry, I don't seem to be able to reproduce your problem, I always get the player controls with the "M" Key or mouse movement alternatively the media info with the "I" key.

Any chance you could try do a screenshot of the problem.

Don't you possess a window Big Grin

Sure I'll add it in as the video fullscreen uses the same setting as the home screen, just stops the weather totally.

I think the file that needs to be modified is DialogSeekBar.xml to add Weather info.

Thank you- great skin!

This is what it looks like with the option "Enable Video OSD Information on Pause" enabled...

...and disabled. That's with the 'M' key or mouse movement. You can see the bottom shade effect is gone, my thumbnail, video title and codec info are gone, and the seek slider is in the wrong place. 'I' key still works fine with either setting.

With the skin "Confluence", when displaying EPG during live TV, live TV stay in background.
With your skin, live TV is hidden by the default background when EPG is displayed.

Forgot that one, but it's been asked for - I've just got to do it.

Re: Background behind the "Live Home" - It uses the "SkinDefault" or theme wallpaper, so if you change your theme it should change. If you want to edit it you'll find the code below in the "Includes.xml"

Ok. Thanks. I will look that...

And to adjust the speed of CD-Wall? :-D

About losing settings: do import export of settings and it will never be a problem in a future. As I understand settings are kind of xml, so it should be easy to save it to file and read from file

Ha OK - I agree the bottom shade should be there, but that's what the "Enable Video OSD Information on Pause" toggle turns off - Video Info eg: thumbnail, title & codec. Believe it or not some guys don't like all that stuff showing.

Also the enable "Video Artwork" should be disabled if the OSD Info is off - That I can fix now.

Plugin scripts can write to files but the skinning engine does not allow skins to create and write to files. So CCM will not have a backup option for the foreseeable futre. Also skins are not allowed to contain any python scripts themselves anymore.

@Mudislander

Hi,

I use this skin in my Raspi, but not your version.Only one thing that stop me is my CEC LG.
My button is little short and I can use only arows"ok".and player button
With your skin is imposible to navigate......Now I must use android phone to navigate open or close windows.
Look your code,<include name="MainWindowMouseButtons"> is imposible to navigate with arows.Button for exit in windows too.

Spend some time watching codes and I will use your skin with pleasure (This is my first skin for raspi ,and the best for him)

You'll have to edit "IncludesCDWall.xml" and look for all the "timeperimage" tags as below - the numbers will not be the same but they are the time for each image and there must be close on 50 of them in the file.

Code:
<timeperimage>6300</timeperimage>

Try "Convergence" you can go to the "home" and "back" floor buttons by going "Right" or sometimes "Down" from the scrollbars in most windows.

RE: CCM for Helix - stonedaze - 2015-02-20

Ok, I just wasn't sure if it was supposed to work like that or not. I didn't mention that all that OSD stuff is missing both while the video is playing or in pause mode. On CCM Gotham, that option only affects whether or not you get an OSD display when you hit pause (spacebar or remote button) and the OSD always works the same way if you move your mouse around while a video is actually playing or paused.

I'm one of those who doesn't like any osd info on the screen when I hit pause, so that's why I keep it disabled, but I always liked the full display when I moved my mouse around or used the M key. Either way is actually fine with me....just the shading and seek bar colors, and slider, are the only problems.

Thanks for talking the time to look, and for the skin.
