I'm only using it with USTVNOW channels, so like 7 channels? Yet, it still has to load them all at start. Takes forever, so I always just uninstall the app. Isn't there a way it can just update all the time in the background?User error. You need to learn how to use the add-on I sure hope you are correct. Can you tell me what I'm doing wrong? I've read and watched tutorials and it works fine unless I don't use it for a few days. All I did was autotune just ustvnow channels, I've got pseudolibrary set to automatically update, and I see it update all the time. What else should I have to do? "add the 7 channels" and choose "auto update library". Is there a "no, seriously auto update library"option I'm missing somewhere? Lol RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dec64 - 2015-02-15 (2015-02-15, 19:40)tommymsw Wrote:(2015-02-15, 01:14)bry- Wrote:(2015-02-15, 00:26)tommymsw Wrote: I love this program, but it's unusable. You need to learn how to use the add-on Autoupdate, means it will recreate the channels to make sure the content is correct and EPG is correct. So it will do that at intervals it see's fit. If you want it to open as fast as possible, set it from auto to weekly. Then 6 days in a week it will open without recreating the channels, and on the 7th you will have your slower start time. To minimise this more turn background loading to ON. This will create the first channel ASAP and play that. It will then continue to create/load the other channels in the background. You will never be able to dismiss SOME pre loading, even if it is not creating the channels and defining the content it is loading previously cached stuff. Obviously this is done a lot faster. In short, update weekly, background loading on. You need to learn how to use the add-on I actually think you've got confused somewhere, PseudoTV Live and PseudoLibrary are two very different plugins, and don't rely on each other in anyway. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - snesmaster40 - 2015-02-15 Would it be possible to increase or turn off the playback timeout option? Not sure when it was added, but sometimes Youtube videos take a while to buffer on my side and because it's not playing Pseudo decides to change to another channel. This seems to happen if I leave the current video paused for too long too. Yeah, but you can't turn it off and the maximum is 30 seconds. :/ Plus I wouldn't have mentioned the option itself without seeing it in the first place :/ [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - jaochoo - 2015-02-15 FEATURE REQUESTs for the in-app channel manager: 1. Up/Down buttons to easily re-order channels (eg. move second channel down to fourth position). 2. Select multiple channels and delete them all, re-order them all, etc. (eg. select first five channels to delete them all at once or select the last three channels to move them up all together). PTVL tries to cancel playback after the configured I understand 10 is the lowest the slider will let you go. So why not edit the settings.xml file your self and put it at 0. Worth a shot. I forgot about looking in the settings file :/ RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - tommymsw - 2015-02-15 Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. I have 2 questions if somebody would be so kind? 1. (just out of curiosity) what is pseudotv library used for? 2. How can I manually add USTVNOW channels? I see how to manually add channels from other plugins, browse to directory, then browse again to the show you want. But when I browse to the USTVNOW "live" section, if I choose "browse" again, nothing happens. I assume there is a way to add a particular USTVNOW channel. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dec64 - 2015-02-15 (2015-02-15, 22:42)tommymsw Wrote: Thanks for the help guys, I really appreciate it. I have 2 questions if somebody would be so kind? PTV Library creates a .strm file from a source such as a plugin. It will always check a specific path from a plugin or other source you tell it, and update the .strm file. 2. Check your login details, they are incorrect. Make sure you can access USTVnow streams directly via the USTVnow plugin before adding them into PTVL. ----- @luna, Quick bug i found. if you try to add the same show as a reminder twice, it will freeze the EPG overlay. Tested twice to confirm. http://pastebin.com/j3YPaEsT Log, but shows no obvious errors. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - tommymsw - 2015-02-15 Hmmm.... So I am doing it correctly? Edit the channel, choose "plugin" as "Channel type", choose USTVNOW as the plugin, then "Click to browse" to the "live" folder, then "click to browse" again to the channel? It is defiantly not working correctly. I have no trouble watching USTVNOW. However, the reason I am even messing with this today is that the PTVL updated (last night I think?), even if I choose "autotune" I get an error and it skips USTVNOW, that is why I am trying to do it manually. It was working perfect before the update, and I have not changed anything else. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - earlieb - 2015-02-15 @luna, Think I found a small bug, When adding a channel through the configuration tool of these types: TV Network, TV Show, and playlist, then navigating to advanced channel rules to set the channel name. Once it is saved. It puts a leading space in the settings2 file for the channel name setting. I think this is why some users are reporting that their logos aren't showing up. Thanks. Hope it explained ok. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - Dec64 - 2015-02-15 (2015-02-15, 23:06)tommymsw Wrote: Hmmm.... So I am doing it correctly? Edit the channel, choose "plugin" as "Channel type", choose USTVNOW as the plugin, then "Click to browse" to the "live" folder, then "click to browse" again to the channel? I tried it, Channel Type is LiveTV, source type is plugin, choose USTVNOW (make sure you are using Luna's version not the normal one) then click to browse to live folder and it shows the channels for me. So i guess make sure ur using Luna's USTVnow and not the normal version, if not check ur logs. RE: [FORK] "PseudoTV Live" w/ LiveTV, InternetTV and added Strm Support - tommymsw - 2015-02-15 YES! Thank you so much for all of your help. |
