Hey Butch,
The current vertical menu is one of the things that I like best about your skin. Others may disagree but I personally like the way that it is spaced out so that you need to scroll through rather than all options be on the one screen.

I had the same "problem"... I mean, I kept forgeting to watch some recently cool added movies, as I download movies faster than I watch them! (about 700 unwatched/2500 total)
the solution I found was
1. set the recently added movies to 500 movies, sorted by date
now I almost use only this section, not the general movies
2. use the favourite function
I always found this function useless, until I realized it could be used as a reminder for films. Everytime I download a movie I find particularly interesting to watch, I put it in the favourites

Random Items already exists in various skins, if it's not much of code i'll see to integrate and make an option to choose between recently added or random items.

Everything stays as it is ... the new vertical home menu was just an idea and when's done i'll share it via a separate download ....

Now, what happens if you switch to another skin with ALA support?
sorry, you're right.
i have win7 64bit, with xbmc 10.1 (dharma), and the latest ALA (v1.5.2).
I've added some games (like AMNESIA, ANOMALY:WARZONE EARTH, BACK TO THE FUTURE, LIMBO and etc...), after i've added them i had imported the info from GameFAQs, and added the thum pictures from google.
eventually i did changed the skin back to the normal, and back the CIRRCUS EXTENDED.
is there anything else i should do to display the game info?
there is the log file of launcher.xml, if it helps anyhow:

If that's the case, then I might plunder some code from the Recently Added script (so that people don't have to change the limit to 500) to select a random film from the library.
I'll see what I can do but my contributions to the skin are slowing down at the moment (sorry) - too many other commitments that are apparently more important than XBMC. Hard to believe, I know!

nope...
i can see when i edit them (and import the info), but i don't see it showed on the desktop, while going back and forward on menus.
i see it in movies/tv shows on library mode (on the default skin i can change to library mode, on this skin i cannot or don't know how...)

I'm really sorry but i can't understand what problem you are trying to explain ... advanced launcher has nothing to do with library mode ...

the problem is i cannot see the games info.
(i can see the info of movies and tv shows).
as far as i know, i imported the games and their info at the right way.

I just tried to import some games info ... it works like a charm,

The one problem I have is, when I start XBMC and the theme loads - I get a script error:-
Error:
Script Failed! : script.tv.show.next.aired
As I can see the plugin is installed and enabled
How can I stop this from happening??
