i have threw a build together on "phenomenol" skin for now until something happens with AZ , but I have no options left as far as trying to solve mu issues atm , tx for help.

Okay, there's a lot of posts here so I am trying to get to everyone. First, to get Dormer out of the way: @g-man, if you're alright with it; now that Dormer is fixed we can put the Dormer build to rest. I was able to disable the notice on the rPi3 and @minus0 tested it as well. I know it's one extra click for now but hopefully SPMC will have Krypton builds soon. Just let me know.
Regarding @ontap's issue
It seems you are having issues extending well beyond Arctic Zephyr: From Ashes. You can't even install the base Arctic Zephyr. @lusephur seemed to misinterpret one of your posts. It appears you copied the NortheBridge by Design Repository addon.xml and not the skin's addon.xml file. What you pictured is correct for the NBD repo but it is incorrect for the skin. What @lusephur posted for the skin is correct for the skin.

The third site you are trying to access is GitHub; that's for advanced users (NortheBridge by Design will direct you via geographic locations to a plethora of 'edge servers' so unless Verizon Enterprise goes down it'll always be available while Emby I think only uses one server but I've never seen it down). There's only three ways to get the skin: NortheBridge by Design, Emby, and GitHub. However, advanced users and developers really should use GitHub as NBD and Emby have the skin pre-packaged so it works out of the box.
However, as many others have stated, you seem to not be able to access a built-in repository - Kodi's official repository.
I am currently downloading Kodi 17 Beta 5 to ensure AZ:FA runs on macOS but as it usually goes: "if it runs on Linux, it'll run on macOS." macOS is just UNIX really dressed up.

@minus0; @Blurayx - I did indeed tell @minus0 to leave the icons positioned as they were due to the new home screen but as Danvers became more and more of an overhaul the new home screen isn't going to come until For Another Age. I haven't even had a chance to show and get feedback on the idea yet because I'm still waiting for my new system which should ship Friday (then however long it takes FedEx to get it here and however long it takes me to image it with Acronis True Image and get back up and running - right now I'm severely limited in what I can do - why I'm going to get the official AZ:FA bug tracking site running ASAP).
My personal opinion is to get rid of the icons completely for that view. There's not enough room at the bottom with the smaller bars just by looking at it.
@minus0, I'll message you on Slack about it but if you want to move the row to a more proper positioning to adjust for the reduced size of the bars that was requested, you can. I know you have a lot on your plate as well so I don't want to overextend you.
FYI everyone, releases are tested on the following platforms: Windows 10 Pro Insider Preview (Fast Ring), Windows 10 Pro (Latest GA), macOS, Ubuntu, Debian, and OSMC by myself. @minus0 tests on Windows 10 Pro and Android 5.
Honestly, the more we can get into a test group the higher the release quality. When I test, I test to make sure it runs and sometimes to ensure that new features work if they are something major. Not sure how far @minus0 goes in his testing but I imagine it's far more deep because I have to worry about addressing conflicts and packaging it up for release so I have to keep my test to making sure that it works and testing some of the 'highlight' features of each new release.

yep , there is something preventing me from installing anything onto the basic kodi17 beta on my mac , when i open a fresh install , all the updates fail and if i try to change the skin from estuary to the basic AZ it fails , again its simplejson and other dependancies failing to install.
I am at a losss , jarvis works fine for other skins , if the problem is at my end I cant see what it is . But tx to everyone for input.

UPDATE - i just downloaded krypton17 beta 1, it updated addons on install, i then downloaded basic arctic zephyr no problem.
got repo. norhbridge .by design added that via zip , no problem , tried to install danvers preview skin and it got as far as 20% before a couple of dependancy failures stopped it. ( think there are a couple of other posters who got this far as well )
this is a lot further than i have got, so i will keep logging on here to see what is happening.

My issues would appear to have been with "beta 5 " ?

does anybody have an issue with "live tv " ?
i have simple pvr client enabled , all set up with a url, the channels load as soon as i open kodi , i can play them from an addon , the pvr is working and it enables the "live tv " heading to appear in main menu but nothing happens when i select it , also the sub menu under live tv doesn't show , the "action " setting under live tv in skin settings says - "activate window ( my pvr ) " if i try to change that action the "live tv" heading disappears from main menu ?

simple pvr and pvr.stalker have issues not caused by this skin.
pvr.stalker for a month or two during the alpha to beta development stage of kodi wouldn't work correctly.
Best go to the respective forum subsections for issues regarding these. But be warned, there is no talk of piracy allowed here.

No issues with not fixing for me. I have already started testing Krypton 5 on my Fire TV's (android arm build) so to your point, once it is released I am moving all my systems over anyway.

@ontap, I am having the same issue testing on Mac. Are you saying you downgraded to beta 1 and you got it working or are you on a different beta level?

@ontap, I am having the same issue testing on Mac. Are you saying you downgraded to beta 1 and you got it working or are you on a different beta level?

I am using the newest beta5 and using motion picture rating country Germany.
The resolution doesn't fit. Can you correct this or is there an option to show a figure instead of the image? Or can I replace the images?
