RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - Z3rO - 2012-11-11 Awesome work Marius! I'm getting an error, that ViMM can't connect to fanart.tv. The website is rechable tough. Any ideas? RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - efty.edge - 2012-11-11 Hi Marius. Same error here. Equal which version i use, intel, cocoa or your hotfix a few hours ago. fanart.tv seems not to be reachable from within viMM but via browser it is. By the way - i used the hotfix version two hours now and there was no crash. Efty RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2012-11-11 I've uploaded a different version of 'Lingua' to dropbox, in the hopes that that one works better, since the previous version seemed to revert to the 'default' language instead of testing out the new one. Let me know if it's 'export to application and run' function works better now. https://www.dropbox.com/sh/zb4fthd72yflphx/H4UZIqokmo While fanart.tv the website is reachable, the API which ViMM uses to download images is not back yet, fanart.tv's been a little unstable for the past few days I believe, it's really unfortunate. Good to hear that the hotfix solved the problem. ![]() RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - Aros - 2012-11-12 (2012-11-11, 23:47)MariusTh86 Wrote: I've uploaded a different version of 'Lingua' to dropbox, in the hopes that that one works better, since the previous version seemed to revert to the 'default' language instead of testing out the new one.The new Lingua works great! I gonna send you a PDF witch screen images showing some changes that needs to be done in the application in order for this to work. Please check your mail. As i'm still struggling with some words i'm gonna write in Swedish now in order to perhaps get some help from fellow county men. Tack! Thanks, RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - joelfernandes - 2012-11-12 Hey, I'm getting this error every time: http://content.screencast.com/users/joelrfernandes/folders/Jing/media/3f91ec25-7c43-4fc3-af3a-d6d00d5aae39/00000245.png It's happening with both Cocoa and the original version (0.6a7) RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - joelfernandes - 2012-11-12 I'm also getting this one sometimes: http://content.screencast.com/users/joelrfernandes/folders/Jing/media/5d7ab5a6-235e-4890-9a29-b381643d5fe1/00000247.png However, it did save the nfo file and downloaded all the images. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2012-11-12 I've uploaded a possible fix to the "IMDb New' error here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2s3f8uhh8jh1l0q/0seaBWnMqs Let me know if it helps. The other error seems to happen when it's trying to get media file information, so the information in the media file might be causing the XML reader to cough up an error like that, i'll try and see what I can do. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - joelfernandes - 2012-11-12 (2012-11-12, 20:28)MariusTh86 Wrote: I've uploaded a possible fix to the "IMDb New' error here: https://www.dropbox.com/sh/2s3f8uhh8jh1l0q/0seaBWnMqs I didn't try that version yet. I did a change on the PHP file and fixed the issue ![]() Regarding the other bug, it happened again with about 4 different movies (eg: http://content.screencast.com/users/joelrfernandes/folders/Jing/media/cd27134d-0eb0-455c-aaca-4fa814d25c46/00000248.png) I've checked the folders and the NFO files are there. Is there anyway I can make ViMM marked them as scrapped? If you check here http://content.screencast.com/users/joelrfernandes/folders/Jing/media/a90dfab2-8d3b-475f-b920-7debde7894bc/00000249.png those 4 last movies have all the images and nfo files, however the "movie" icon is gray instead of blue and it's not showing the rating on the list panel. Just noticed this bug: ![]() RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - MariusTh86 - 2012-11-13 Pray tell, what did you change on the PHP file? that way I can adjust my copy. ![]() A 'hard' refresh of the list should clear out the irresponsible movies, go to the 'file' menu and choose the 'refresh list' option, not the 'update list', it should re-read every file and add them correctly. That's the trade-off between refresh and update list, existing movies don't get re-added. ^^; And something really went wrong in the gettings of file information on that last example, i've limited the amount of characters to be shown, so if it's more then 6 like in the above screenshot, it'll hide it instead, unless it knows what to do with it instead. I've uploaded a new version to dropbox again, if you'd like to try it out for me. ![]() the other link in your post didn't work for me unfortunately. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - joelfernandes - 2012-11-13 You can check the change here: http://pastebin.com/5rUCqJ4X (I've placed there the old code that was changed. Basically I check first if those variables exist). Regarding the picture link that doesn't exist, is the same problem as before, it failed analysing the video file. Here's the picture: ![]() I've checked Dropbox and it's empty ![]() RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - joelfernandes - 2012-11-13 ![]() It's happening a lot. It's now the 7th movie this happens, out of 30 movies. RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - efty.edge - 2012-11-13 Hi Marius. I test you lates Dropbox Intel version an try to scrape the movie 'Unthinkable (2011)'. At the beginning of the scraping process viMM stopped and i receive following error message. Code: ERROR: 6 Everything else works fine - so far... ![]() Efty EDIT: German Translation ready and shipped.... RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - mjccox - 2012-11-15 Thank You for making this! Please keep up the awesome work! lovin it so far! RE: [MAC] ViMediaManager - Media Manager for Mac OS X! - edbware - 2012-11-19 It's completely amazing to me what amount of time can be saved by having the right tools for a project. I was just not up to the daunting task of scraping and organizing my media manually, so I continued to put it off and kept terabytes of single movie-video files loose on drives and let XBMC re-scrape whenever I moved the data around. What a pita manually cleaning up after an install/scrape. Along came ViMediaManager to completely ease me into finally taking this project on. What would have taken weeks, only took a few days. I've been a XBMC user since the original Xbox days and it runs on 3 ATV's and one OG-Xbox around the house. I have really enjoyed watching it become as powerful as it has over the years. Thanks so much for this amazing tool for OSX.
