- fekker - 2009-03-11 ethan_9219 Wrote:Okay, and one other stupid question; how do i actually enable Wget and type that line of code....Do i do it from Windows' CMD or COMMAND....Or what is the method? no worries. Code: start menu > choose run Code: set http_proxy=http://proxy.myprovider.net:8080 change proxy.myprovider.net to whatever the FQDN (or IP) your proxy server is change 8080 to whatever port you need to use - ethan_9219 - 2009-03-11 Okay....have just tried what you said, and then opened up MIP....I tried to use the auto-pilot, but it has not gone further than my first movie (still says getting IMDB info)... So, either i have done something wrong, or it may not work? I'm not sure....But, knowing me, I've done something wrong/... - fekker - 2009-03-11 ethan_9219 Wrote:Okay....have just tried what you said, and then opened up MIP....I tried to use the auto-pilot, but it has not gone further than my first movie (still says getting IMDB info)... if you open up a command prompt and type in "set" does it list http_proxy= SOMETHING HERE - ethan_9219 - 2009-03-11 No....But it does list a whole bunch of other stuff not pertaining to HTTP...stuff like username, and stuff like that... Don't know why anything's not working. - fekker - 2009-03-11 ethan_9219 Wrote:No....But it does list a whole bunch of other stuff not pertaining to HTTP...stuff like username, and stuff like that... i tried it under xp pro, logged in as a user with admin rights, and it worked (well setting the env. variable worked). not sure if it's the same in vista or not, and vista's security might block that. - ethan_9219 - 2009-03-11 Ok....I will unblock all security, firewall etc. and set wget and MIP to 'run as administrator'. just one question, do i need to run the wget.exe from the 3rd party folder before typing the code? and then run MIP? and that's it, or is there more? - fekker - 2009-03-11 ethan_9219 Wrote:Ok....I will unblock all security, firewall etc. and set wget and MIP to 'run as administrator'. you can try the wget.exe from a command line to see if it's working.. but it's not necessary to run it - joebrady - 2009-03-11 Fekker: I must have deleted your PM about the details to get the update, if you resend I can see what I can do with it also - matthuisman - 2009-03-11 Hi fekker, Any source available for this newest version? I was going to look into making the ARTIST selectable between "Album Artist or Artist" in music. ![]() - fekker - 2009-03-11 stanley87 Wrote:Hi fekker, Let me see what I can do, i've got to compile some parts of mip into a dll as the source is protected Season -1? - rbonon - 2009-03-11 I am using Movie Info Plus, and for most of my shows, it goes well (i.e. House) but for other (although similar in organizaiton, number of episodes and seasons, like Desperate Housewives), I am getting Season -1 displayed. When entering Season -1 I see all episodes of all Seasons displayed. Anyone seen this as well? Any solution? More details on this topic: http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=46734 Tks for your help. - fekker - 2009-03-11 rbonon Wrote:I am using Movie Info Plus, and for most of my shows, it goes well (i.e. House) but for other (although similar in organizaiton, number of episodes and seasons, like Desperate Housewives), I am getting Season -1 displayed. Or This may be an issue with additional numbers in the episode file name, after the s00e00 information. Same info in the other thread, just in case others have a similar issue. I know for sure that I used to have this problem, and If i remember correctly, it's a number in the filename. - JiveTalker - 2009-03-11 rbonon Wrote:I am using Movie Info Plus, and for most of my shows, it goes well (i.e. House) but for other (although similar in organizaiton, number of episodes and seasons, like Desperate Housewives), I am getting Season -1 displayed. When entering Season -1 I see all episodes of all Seasons displayed. I had this problem with XBMC a few weeks ago. It listed most episodes of 24 as season -1. The simple solution was to remove 24 from my XBMC library then ask it to re-scan for tv shows. It imported it correctly the second time. The only thing that I could think of that mayhave caused this was that perhaps the data in that folder had changed since the first time the series was addded to XBMC and it got confused as to what was new and what it had already added, particularly as MIP is in Beta and the content of the NFO files may have changed. I've added 900 tv episodes to XBMC, formatted by MIP and this only happened once on one show. MIP allows you to get things looking the way you want in XBMC and not the way the internal scraper would choose. [This reply is also in the other thread] - fekker - 2009-03-11 Here's rc3 of Media Info Plus --- link removed --- You'll need to extract it with 7zip The password is xbmcrocks This is a pre-release build, don't run it on your actual collection, please use copy's or test setups. While I have run this on my own test set, and we have a team testing it here in the forums, it's gonna have some issues. With that being said, it's pretty stable at this point. Grab the fanart pack http://www.mediafire.com/?kbugjrxatij Extract it to C:\Program Files\movieinfoplus\customimages\music\fanart If you installed to a non default directory <install folder>\customimages\music\fanart I want to send a huge thanks to everyone that has helped test MIP and get it to where it is today. Feedback and bug reports and ways to improve it have really made it a much better application. BTW, This is not the final release, there are still some areas I'm working on, VIDEO_TS is not yet complete, but will be. With the new builds it will find everything except for the .nfo, so the temp fix is to copy movie.nfo to the VIDEO_TS folder, images do not need to be copied. I've got about 40 or 50 more things to finish up until it's ready, it's really close, and I went past my own timeline, so i'm giving those who want to try it out a preview release. I've also been working on isolating the code and getting it ready to upload to sourceforge. The final release will start in it's own thread, it won't be long now ![]() - Fekker - joebrady - 2009-03-12 Will give it a run tonight. Any certain area's you like to be looked at? |
