Your logic is fine, but check how items are displayed, for me look fine and made sense how Marcos create options for show or no at the home.

How many items in your library, in Movies and Tv Shows...of course if have a lot, is distinct persons have a few.
If you lower the amount so say 15 or 20 you should see a difference

I believe MQ7 only pulled in the movies once and didnt change them until you restarted Kodi.

Thanks, its a lot of items, I'm travelling now with my family, when I return to home, I will check in my main HTPC and retest widgets. I know Marcos is creating a new widget system to Ace2, work better and more fast.

Skin use for show widgets in MQ8, playlists, direct access database Kodi, and scripts, it's natural to have distinct performances when select one or other widget (don't expect same results for all items available). Maybe the script have a bug or something is wrong in the skin code (but is equal to MQ7).

If you need something more, please consider inform what more and where need improves, your post is nothing descriptive, is too much generic to improve something in the skin.
Please inform clearly demands (where, why) or bugs. Complain I don't like, I will change for other skin, its something irrelevant.

Phenomenal as usual, Thanks Marcos and Wanilton! Only thing I wish is that I didn't have to rename my whole 4K library for HDR to popup. Aura has it without having to have HDR in the movies name. Any chance that is an option?
