RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Angelinas - 2014-01-21 This are video how I change some details.... My TOP is LiveTV PVR SimpleIPTV (Afedecin),and I change few things on my favourite skin CCM I try this on PC and rspi XBMC , looks good and works great -Change Widget ,add 2 new line with all function (favourite nolimit number,2.row custom playlist and addon top row 10 Icons and links) -add Button for changing Group of Channels (Info what group is on list) on My PVR RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - floatingcloud - 2014-01-21 Are instances where CCM "crashes" XBMC of interest? In this case "crash" is where Windows says "XBMC is no longer responding, would you care to close it" because XBMC has gone out to lunch and seemingly gotten itself quite drunk. And to further expand on why it is desirable to browse "Songs" when it comes to music, today with the ability to easily purchase single tracks from any given artist through any one of the various online avenues, it is no longer the album or the artist that is of importance to the user but the song itself to the point where it may be that both the album and artist are relatively unknown or uncared for. Is this on a Gotham nightly? If yes is there a crash dump file? If yes please create ticket on trac.xbmc.org RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - floatingcloud - 2014-01-23 (2014-01-21, 23:34)Martijn Wrote:(2014-01-21, 23:31)floatingcloud Wrote: Are instances where CCM "crashes" XBMC of interest? Gotham nightly as of maybe two weeks ago ... Where would I find the crash dump file? In some situations, the behaviour seems a bit more erratic than I see with Confluence. For example, I navigate with the keys to "Recently Added" under "Movies", the "click" nosie happens and the cursor moves over to "Sets" and that's it. All seems to be working well on my windows 7 system. Thanks for the updates, especially the TV options. Now if I could only convince you to add 5 more shortcuts to the homescreen, life would be perfect. I notice there are 11 home menu buttons and only 10 Add on short cut groups in settings. Adding one more group would be nice, and would not clutter the screen, as you've mentioned before. And, many people have asked for more add on spaces, myself included. RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - floatingcloud - 2014-01-23 How is the "Preset(Movies Children)" menu option used? Changing a sub menu to be "Preset(Movies Children)" causes it to disappear from the Home Menu? And "Preset(Movies Children)" cannot be assigned to a main menu item? Or more importantly, where do I find documentation on how to use it? CCM appears to have a GenreChildren.xml file that specifies "Children" as having a rule where "genre" is "Children". This would be good except that the default listing of genres under "Movies" does not contain "Children" nor an option to add a new genre and then associate movies with a genre called "Children". Am I missing something? RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - blasty - 2014-01-24 floatingcloud: The genre of your movies and shows is set by which scraper you use. I use Ember Media Manager (on a PC) to scrape info for my movies and TV shows. It will assign a movie or show the "Children" genre if necessary, or I can choose to add it, or change the genre if I want. If none of your Movies are listed as Children genre, the button may not appear in CCM. I have no PVR set up, so even if I enable the "Live TV" menu option, it will not show up on the home menu. I think the same holds true for all buttons. If you do not have it, it will not display. You should use something else to scrape your movies. RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - floatingcloud - 2014-01-24 Ok, I get that - you don't have it so it doesn't appear in the menu. Why is there a "Playlist(Videos)" sub-menu option but no "Playlist(Movies)" sub-menu option? (Whilst "Videos" is generic, a Playlist generated for Movies will not work...) RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - alon24 - 2014-01-24 HI, I really like your mod, I just have a small issue (tried searching but its 91 pages so far),. On Gotham (I do not know if this is different than in Frodo), I added Code: <substitute> Regular Favorites (Home) menu sees the correct favorites, but, When I try to add a menu item for a favorites for my childrens menu, it does not see the correct favorites, it always goes to the local favorites.xml I have verified this buy adding this code, and deleting the local favorites.xml (on my windows test machine). Favorites(Home) - shows all favorites but when trying to add a favorite to the menu, it does nothing (blank line). Can this be fixed (I imagine its a very small fix) Thanks, And love your work RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - alon24 - 2014-01-24 If I may ask, maybe this too has been asked before. How do I import/export settings? This is the first skin I want to share, and so I labored for 2 hours on my windows machine to make the menues just right. NOw how to move the menu settings to my RPI, and 2 Zotac Zbox running openelec? Should I copy guisettings.xml? is there an export import action. Please help RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Mudislander - 2014-01-25 (2014-01-24, 19:37)alon24 Wrote: If I may ask, maybe this too has been asked before. Try this addon I've been looking at it recently and while CCM does not support it ATM you can install it & run it manually. One of the options is to export/import skin settings Also Guys please note CCM is a Frodo skin and not designed for Gotham, therefore I can't help with any problems while trying to run it on Gotham - even if you are sure that it's an easy problem to fix. RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - floatingcloud - 2014-01-25 Are there plans to make CCM work on Gotham or should those of us using Gotham give up on it already? RE: CCM - Confluence Customizable Mod - Takenover83 - 2014-01-26 Can anyone with a rpi running Frodo (12.3) test this. Play a streaming movie. Leave paused for several minutes (atleast 4minutes) Hit stop. Try to move around the menu's = freeze few seconds later. I can repeat this freeze over and over. This does not occur for me on Windows running Frodo 12.3 Even tried latest version of ccm from git, with same results and only happens with this skin. ATM the only stuff I'm doing for Gotham is Hybrid. The development version can be found in the XBMC Gotham Skin Development Repo. Skin has a few issues, but they should be sorted in a week or so. Otherwise it has a lot of similarities to CCM. (2014-01-26, 08:54)Takenover83 Wrote: Can anyone with a rpi running Frodo (12.3) test this. Sorry I can't check for you, instictive thought is memory issues. This mod was not designed to run on low end machines.
