Is it possible to make the plot outline in french ? When looking at the .nfo file i can see th eplot in french but the outline is always in english !

That generally means that there was no translated outline available, which seems to be often the case, so it uses an english back-up instead.
Though it's been suggested to use the first one or two sentences of the full plot instead to make a new outline instead of going to the back-up.

I deleted the preference, and the directory on the Application support, started again and same errors.
Somehow, it deleted the content of my external drive.
I lost 3TB of movies and TV show..will need to restore from a backup (at least i had one)

I'm sorry, I didn't lost my files but the external drive crashed and the files disappeared. I just unpplug it from the wall and everything came back ! Thank god !!
Restoring 3TB takes days!
will rescan with VImedia in 2 minutes!

When generating nfo's with Vimedia and then strating a scan with YAMJ i'm loosing all the informations on the xml file that YAMJ makes with your NFO.

For the most part, they already look like that, with just a few small differences here and there, which makes ViMM 'mostly' compatible with YAMJ.
It just doesn't look anything like the other NFO file that you showed.

Reason is that the string "movie" in the NFO reader is used to get ALL movie sections in the NFO; so each recommended movie will be regarded as single movie; the first movie section (the valid one) works, but then the movie (taken from recommended_movies section) does not contain any values and the values in the movie will be overwritten with UNKNOWN and not rescraped later on.
Do you have the possibility to remove the recommended_movies section from the NFO?
In that case the scraping works as expected.
Perhaps the NFO reader should just read the first NFO; but this must be inspected to not have side effects
